You must be at the Pittsburgh end of the state. I pray for the day that Fatheads gets as far east as Harrisburg.

    Beer revisit night, happy Friday!:

One of the first ones I ever reviewed. Loved the aromas but the flavor didn't quite hit that mark. Chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, herbal, light pine, light nuttiness, and roasted earthiness. Moderate bitterness. Very good stuff.

Very nice Irish red ale as expected. Caramel, biscuit, toast, toffee, raisin, pear, floral, herbal, light pepper, light nuttiness, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Very well balanced, super smooth, and crisp. Spot on.

Was pleasantly surprised seeing this in 4 packs, and dated for 1/17/2014. Fresh saisons are the best. This was incredible. Taste of big lemon zest, peach, apricot, apple, pear, orange peel, clove, pepper, straw, grass, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Awesome yeast/malt balance and very crisp for the large-ish ABV. Wow. Time to go buy a full 4 pack.

Fresh Creme Brulee always hits all the right buttons for me. This is just as delicious as I remember it 2+ years ago. Huge amount of vanilla, toffee, cream, butterscotch, and burnt sugar notes with a bit of toast. I always prefer it fresh because the hops cut out any chance of cloying sweetness. Once it gets aged is when it is not a full solo bomber deal. Outstanding.

I think by the time most good German beer gets to Oklahoma, it has been kicked out of at least 2 states closer to major port ( or so it seems  ). I always tried to keep a case (minimum) of Andesch's & a case of Diebels Alt in my keller when I was living in Germany...

Pipeworks' Coffee Break Abduction. Almost a bit too sweet for me, but enjoying the bitter coffee flavors rounded out by the vanilla. Haven't yet had a Pipeworks that I didn't like!

Krebs Brewing Black OPA. It's just me, but I liking the Hopslam with some age on it better than fresh. More pineapple. Less boozeyness...

I've had a long week. SO today I'm having three in a row. First lord cheddy, now im drinking a stone ipa.

I usually do not drink stone cause its 3.50 a bottle, but, its on sale for $2.00. Its a month pass its expiration date but I still taste the hops.

next bottle, hooker truffle stout. I m looking forward to that one.
