    Funny (not really "funny", you know what I mean) you mention the word "coward". That was the exact same word I used in a conversation with my wife while on the road today. A disgusting situation. :slight_frown:

    Homebrewed "Sweet Potato Pie Porter." I had roasted the sweet potatoes with nutmeg, cinnamon and cocoa powder. When it was done I mashed it up with a bunch of black-strap molasses and let the beer ferment on it for about 5 days.

    It's actually pretty damn good! I was suspicious as this was an out of the box brew, but I must say it's pretty tasty stuff.

    Lavery's Devil Bird is a barrel-aged Imperial Porter. Nice, seamless malty beer here; the bourbon barrel quality quietly sits in the background, sort of like the butterscotch sauce on this rich chocolate pudding of a beer. I don't know what that has to do with Christmas, but it's damn tasty. Maybe next time I'll put it in an ice cream float. Cheers!
