Just opened a box from Jan2 Chicago deliciousness!! Thanks bud! Since the beer I received didn't have time to chill after a 2nd shift work night, I'll enjoy a wonderful Michigan beer out of one of the coolest snifters I've ever gotten in a trade. Oh, it's the ONLY snifter I've ever gotten in a trade! Love it though!


I wasn't expecting a sour when I opened this Lucid Dreams. I'm not big on sours, but man I'm diggin this beer! It was pricey at almost 5 bucks a bottle, but so glad I bought one!

Really liking this year's batch. Nice tropical finish and no taste of the 9.1%

 

Made a black & tan with Expedition Stout and Hoptimum. More like an old & young - the Expedition is a year and a half old and the Hoptimum was bottled about a month ago.



I poured it backwards at first so it ended up as just a blend of the two (about 60 stout/40 IPA). Turns out it ended up even better than the the black & tan. Really, really tasty.

 

Nebco gold stock . Very good stuff

 

My first Ten Fidy.. Spectacular. Wow.

 

Ending on an Odell St. Lupulin, crossing myself since we dodged some bullets storm-wise here. Raising this glass to all the brave men & some women who put their ass on the line 70 years ago. For all they knew they would be dead within minutes, hours or days. Considered myself lucky to visit the Normandy area twice & soak in the full appreciation for their sacrifice.

I dare my brothers & sisters in this community to consider just how bad this endeavor could've gone & what the long term implications would've been.

If you come across a WWII vet let them know your appreciation; their days amongst us are few & getting fewer. Our loss.

I hope the others are having one hell of a reunion up there! Cheers Operation OVERLORD participants where ever you may be!

 

this beer is amazing!

 

The tartness from the cherry has become quite pronounced but it finishes with a slightly bitter roasty malt flavor. The flavors work together well. It makes me glad I held onto this for a while before opening it. Cheers
