Just came back from the local craft bar. Dark Horse One Oatmeal Stout is the bomb. Better than Shakespeare for sure and maybe better than Sam Smith.

 

That is a glorious sight.
I lived in Haddonfield and Philadelphia while in law school.
I used to go back to Philly quite a bit.
Alas, with 2 baby girls, it is difficult to go.
Next time I am in the city of brotherly love, I will visit Slice.

Oh crappo! Slice was going to start another location in Haddonfield! I go to the Pourhouse on occasion as well as I live right off Haddon Ave in Collingswood.

 

I've been to the Pourhouse.
Collingswood has improved greatly since I lived there.
Many good restaraunts on Haddon ave.

Anchor's 2012 Christmas Ale

Never encountered a "winter warmer" style beer. Is this typical?

Porter-like! Love it. Dry and roasty malt profile, nice bittering - smooth, mild - easy drinking...

Nice head retention...

Real nice closer - just like a good porter - low abv, dark, with a little bitter send-off.

I went to The Funky Buddha Lounge. I got to sample everything, but went easy so i could make the drive home. Now that I'm home, i am trying Wake N Bake for the first time. Good evening for beer
