Ripped off 58 miles on the bike this morning... out to Stinson Beach and back over the ridge, which was a 4.25 miles climb with no flats.
Kicking back watching tape delayed Open Championship and enjoying the hell out of this beer now that I've finally been able to find some.
Hope Rory implodes and I can walk tomorrow.
The Alchemist Heady Topper, "Why?", because I'm worth it!
There are times I think I enjoy the filtered better than the unfiltered, Kristall is so clean and good with plenty of residual yeast spice to it.
this isn't bad surprisingly sweet but I'm not getting much rye taste but pretty solid
Earlier today, with @AdmiralOzone ...
I was glad I could share this with my brother.
I know he really enjoyed it, which made my day.
Way too early,
I always like the fact I can go back to Weihenstephan, and I am never disappointed..... I am heading to Germany in about 2 months and I just can't friggin... wait...

Cool & cloudy day, taking it easy, time to be liberated!
Evil Twin makes some astonishingly good stouts I'd love to try this
Breaking into the delicious package that arrived from @end_27 today, starting off the night with this one -- ripe, juicy, and dry...English Ale yeast with an American hop burst.
This is how I feel when a box of beer arrives at my doorstep on a Saturday afternoon...and Victor Wooten is just dirty.
Need something crushable after humping the last wheelbarrow of mulch for today. My yard is almost back to normal after the beating it took last winter. I sense a lazy day tomorrow.
As promised earlier, cheers to Indy's continued recovery, and @IndyDad for being such a great guardian.
Half Acre Akari Shogun American Wheat Ale. This is extremely good! Great balance between the juicy motueka hop flavors, slight bready malt, and wheat. If you are the Chicago area and you are having trouble finding Gumballhead, this is an excellent substitute.
Yes you are, awesome shot!
Feelin' freaky n gettin' Naughty (Sauce) at Noble Ale Works:
New growler store in Snellville GA. Drinking a Ballast Point Black Marlin on their opening day. Tasty.
Someone's gotta do it!

Cheers all. Toasting my best friend who just finished the "Last Annual Vol State" 314 mile Ultra. An appropriate choice and one of my favs. Cheers!
"Best In Box" so far....
Ha! A burden I must bare.
New Glarus oud bruin.
I finally get to open my box today! I feel like it's Christmas in July. Here's the first one I'm trying-
It's an Alt, alright; maybe a bit big, but it hits the right notes to me. Nice aroma of creamy malt, but there's a freshness from the hops, slightly citrusy with an herbal and/or vanilla note, to provide a light counterpart. The palate is all toasted pumpernickel and caramel, but it finishes dry and surprisingly bitter. The toasty malt lingers a very long time. It may not be the most exciting of styles, but they did a very nice job while putting their own spin on it. The more I drink this one, the more I like it.
I'm getting ready for more- bring it on, baby!
Decided to go to camp with everyone... Are we gonna paddle across the lake tonight for a panty raid? Just kidding ladies... Cheers!

'Bout to tackle this monster, at 11.25% I don't know if you'll hear from me again tonight. Who am I kidding, you probably will. This is one my 80 year old mother muled down to me.
Listening to some old s_it tonight
Against The Grain's You Brett Your Ass IPA....from their All Funked Up Wild Series. Always a sucker for a brett IPA, looking forward to checking this out.
Listening to some Mother Love Bone.
Made a night out of this guy on Thursday... damn. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Been on a sour kick lately. Really liking this one.
Or this guy...
This is damn tasty. Gonna move onto some heavier brews to round out the day. Cheers.
that wasn't near as funny half drunk as he thought it was stoned
Had a Dark Horse Special Reserve Black Ale with dinner. Got home and tried
Another solid beer for Lagunitas.
Now on to some fresh Lagunitas Imperial Red. Pretty much what I expected…big, vibrant hop character (citrus, pine) balanced with some nice toasty and slightly sweet bready notes. Too drinkable for almost 8%. Lagunitas kills it again!
