Moving on to this
Ommegang Seduction then following it up with a Great Lakes Blackout Stout. Saving the Anchor Christmas for tomorrow. Happy Holidays!!!
Mmm. Fresh! Floaties! They're tasty! This reminds me of Troegs Perpetual, but a bit bolder. There's almost a spicy, peppery taste here, under the citrus. Very good stuff. Can't wait to try the White Oak Jai.
Wasn't expecting to find anything good (beerwise) during a liquor run in the small town my parents live in. Small steps to craft beer Loganville. Well played.
Starting off the evening with Founders Bolt Cutter. Loving this brew. It's a strong one, so not sure how many to follow, but I've got quite a line up waiting. Probably hit some Celebration and/or Brown Shugga.
Only my first time having it, but I think it would pair well with anything from turkey to cranberry sauce to pie for dessert.
Time for some Barleywine.. and this one is delicious.. as usual
drinking this while getting ready for tomorrow.
Also, just noticed that the Tocobaga, my first beer from a trade, was my 100th tick (Not including macro, which I don't count).
Thanks again Kirbmeist, you're awesome.
Starting here. Canned 11 days ago. Woohoo.
Already had these:
And close to finishing this:
Not sure if I'll have anything else tonight or not.
Finished work early , get to enjoy some afternoon NFL , then the nite cap Niners @ ShitSeahawks ,
so Sunday's starter GUINNESS Draught ,
followed by PARALLEL 49 'Black Christmas' CDA ,
and then GRANVILLE IS 'Imperial Choc Stout ,
& might half too finish with my starter as Friday was a bit rough , (I know it's Sunday)
Stone Vertical Epic 9-9-9 on tap(!) at Hopleaf.
Founders Breakfast Stout
Just watched the Bronco's game and started pre-gaming for the Seahawks/49'ers with a saison from Funkwerks, Montagne.
And now onto a:
Northwind Imperial Stout
Two Brothers Brewing Company
Something new...not bad so far
Happy Holidays - Libations for everyone!
Wow. 2010 deliciousness
The start of a BIG beer night courtesy of Founder26! Needless to say, this first one is drinking SPECTACULAR! Just a little "Susan"
Amazing Cantillon lineup (fou > rose > Blåbær)
I will be showing this to my wife as whenever we go out to a BYOB place I use this move and she thinks I'm a maniac (plus we have 3 kids under 4, so I have 3 beer holders).
White Oak Aged Jai Alai :
Oh...oh fuck. Fucking shit, man.
The smell was hops, mango, coconut. This both got me excited and worried. Because I'm not a big fan of mango or coconut.
I hate coffee though, and FBS is in my top 5. This is a similar situation.
This might be the best thing that I ever put down my face. The smell matches the taste, but in a way I can't even comprehend correctly. I just....fuck.
I'm gonna have to re-rate all my hads. There's no way I can have a bunch of 5's-4's after having this. This changes everything.
Jack's Abby Saxonator. Solid, not my favorite JA brew.
Noob exploration of gueuze = curiously dazed
Sorry for delay in response! I opened the bottle and smelled a nice sweet cherry and when I poured it into a glass my friend and I smelled apples. This was elegant to say the least and as it warmed man did we ever enjoy it!
I basically had the same reaction. Great beer!
MERRY XMAS BA BROTHERS.
2 week old Double Jack. When this beer is under 3 weeks old it is so different than 45 days plus. So much hops, it is nearly perfect!
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
Ah, the taste of a Bourbon County on a cold winter evening is uncanny!
Love this IPA.
