Just finished a DFH Olde School and now moving onto a Big Black Voodoo Daddy stout. I forgot how great this beer was. So smooth for 12.5 abv. Praying for the Seahawks defense in my fantasy championship!

I saw that, Hanzo. Like my post, then unlike it! Sorry, Dale's just wasn't that good, at least stacked up with the amazing shit I've had tonight. By the way, you're in my extra love list for 2012. I take your recommendations to heart, you have a similar mindset to me, and your avatar sends some blood to my...ANYWAY, merry whatever. Hope to send you some Erie Monster!

Haha, I just didn't read it all the way and prematurely liked it. No hard feelings just cause you don't like Dale's. If we all liked the same thing there wouldn't be anything to talk about here.

Bummer, such a solid APA imo especially fresh. I actually prefer it to SNPA by a hair.

It's very hoppy, and drinks more like an Imperial IPA than a barley wine. Some roasty notes, but not the heft or the dried fruit flavors I was hoping for. Cheers!
