A couple of great beers! Cheers!
Ballistic IPA from Ale Asylum. All Amarillo hops. I love Amarillo hops.
And some King George.
Moved on to a two day old Alpha King. Cheers all!
Anderson Valley Brewing Company * Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout.
I would highly recommend drinking this at about 55 degrees and then letting it warm up. I think it kind of balances the low ABV of this beer. Ohh and also... i got that bottle opener at target for 99 cents. Best 99 cents I've ever spent.
Back to camp. Yonder Bock. Pretty interesting, very tasty.
Great pics as usual, jd. Both great but I really like the first one. Cheers!
Great EP from AiC!!
Smoked ribs & baked beans. Now on to a beer (finally!) CCB/Great Lakes Collab Wandering Pelican Black Ale with a canned Two Hearted on deck.
My last can of Odub canned exactly one month ago. Gotta grab more this week
Bells two hearted
Brother on, brother on, brother on, brothers in blood!
Big Red Liquors had 4 pack pint cans on sale for $6.99 today. I picked up 2 to take to the track tomorrow! Cheers
I love you. Sorry if I just made it weird but it's true
Really good stuff after being in the car sitting with beer I wanted to drink immediately for 8 hours. Cheers!
This is gonna be it for me. Been long ass day and I've been imbibing most of the time. Ending with this. Just a slight twinge of heat on the tail end, but can't go wrong with anything that's been thrown into a bourbon barrel. Not sure what tomorrow will hold. Gotta drive back up north. Been a pleasure drinking with you all as usual. Cheers!!!
hd (hot dam) that's another cool as pic jd!
At a beer Fest today...this is a brew from Hammerheart. Not only do they have a badass name, these guys really brought it today at All Pints North... This is an imperial stout aged in 39 year old oak barrels. Not a bad pour, and the highlight of the day for sure. Cheers!
WELL played!!!! !!!
My brother and now my oldest son love Duck Tales! And of course now that I see this video (again!) all I can hear in my head is this song
Every time I listen to this album it takes me back to my younger days and how mind blowing this album was from these guys! For me it's one of their all time best EVER!
RIP: Adam Yauch aka MCA
Keeping it local, cheers!
Glad I finally got to try this. Good...but not what I was hoping for.
Vacationing at my parent's house, just got in the door and I am hitting a good beer store tomorrow. This will have to do for now
That's really odd i'm not sure what would cause it to be off in the bottles, but its good to know it wasn't just me. For me the flavors were there just muted/subtle. I'll be sure to try it on tap though, hopefully the flavors pop out more.
...happy to see team movistar miss the podium. valverde can suck it. cheers. xoxo.
Had this earlier:
I am having a taste of this right now:
Last one for the night...and the best. Cheers!
That's all folks!
Pipeworks Brewing Hey, Careful Man, There's a Beverage Here! It's a "White" Stout with lacose sugar, cacao, coffee, and vanilla. I've never had a stout that looks like this, but it's not bad. Getting mostly coffee with some slight vanilla. Pretty sweet, but it hides the alcohol very well. Definitely a different and unique beer with an awesome name! Love the ambition of Pipeworks to make these types of beers!
Not sure either, I know the first bottles I had were tough to drink, but i found it on tap a few weeks later and it jumped from drain worthy to go to for me while I was there.
Tart and delicious! Happy Saturday everyone!
Slowly sipping this to end my night. Cheers all
Nothing yet but heading to Wyoming tomorrow morning! Will be stopping through Chicago!
Central Waters Local Option Bourbon Barrel-Aged La Petite Mort, Yum!
Really nice pictures, and the beers don't sound bad either...
Love that Handle!
watching some bs tennis and drinking new holland's dragon milk.
as usual, i love dragon's milk. so well balanced; a little bourbon, a little cocoa, carbonation almost reminiscent of soda (but not that much) with enough roasted malt bitterness and alcohol heat to remind me i'm drinking beer. really excellent night cap. when i first had some i thought, "huh, i could drink a lot of this." i was right.
just as the beer i'm drinking is a repeat, so am i listening to a song i've posted here before:
p.s. if you get bored, don't skip ahead, but know that vtech kicks in around 2 minutes in.
have tickets to see him in a couple months. have a good feeling about it.
