Moving on to my first Double Bastard Ale from Stone. I hope everyone is enjoying spending some time with family and some great beer! Cheers.

Had a growler or two of homebrew I shared with a good buddy this afternoon.

Came home, and opened some gifts from my lovely wife. Now.. about to have our dinner together, and popped open:

Bruery 5 Golden Rings... So far, taste pretty good.. very different, but I love some pineapple, and Belgian yeast.. this is good so far!

Will move to something bigger tonight me thinks!

Merry Christmas BA, to you and yours; Cheers!

Capital Autumnal Fire. Great maltiness up front and finishes with a nice slight juiciness. I think I might start drinking more doppelbocks this winter season.

Oh the Duchesse! She was quite tasty. She paired well with pineapple surprisingly. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Invasion Pale Ale growler. The beers in the background and the blue point glass are my haul from the LNBA Secret Santa BIF from cosmicevan (check out the hints and hauls thread for better pictures, cosmicevan and everyone else absolutely killed it)

Kicked things off with Defiant Christmas Ale, naturally. Considering that there were still gifts to be wrapped for the little ones, I moved onto a 2010 Mikkeller Santa's Little Helper—delicious. We'll see what the night has in store before the jolly ol' elf makes his appearance. Happy holidays!

Just got finished with hosting my family's version of the Feast of the 7 Fishes. Turned out great, and finally able to sit down and relax. So far today I split a bomber of 2011 Troegs Mad Elf with my bro in law followed by a couple of DFH 60 minutes, now enjoying this. Cheers everyone and Merry Christmas.

By the way, I have not had one of these in a while, but found it strange that it had a Lucifer cap on it???
