    It's a Night Shift kind of evening. This one is really interesting: a "pink IPA" brewed with hibiscus flowers. Nice and hoppy with a sweet spiciness in the finish, similar to rye IPA but sweeter.

    Good evening, BAs! First day back at work (after a month long vacation + graduate seminar), to find out my students are an absolute disaster. They're dumb. Dumb, dumb, dumb. On Monday, I think half of the class is going on ordered hours. It's going to be swell!

    When I got home, I kicked off the late afternoon with an Ozark American Pale Ale courtesy of @capnamerica.

    Not bad; I imagine this would be a very tasty go-to or lunch APA if you can get it locally on tap.

    Grabbed a happy hour special for dinner at the Engine Room in downtown Mystic. $4 draft of Founders Porter? Yes please.

    Damn I love this beer. So smooth and creamy. Followed it up with a Jack's Abbey Hopstitution (Aussie Rules).

    Delicious. Tons and tons of Aussie hops (Galaxy in particular): fruity, peppery, and dank. (I went there. Bite me.)

    Swung by the local nano brewery, Beer'd, before heading home, and picked up a backpack full of growlettes. Sampled some great stuff there, as always, including two brand new beers (one of which is a one-off, and won't be returning). Great stuff and great people, as always.
