    Dark Horse Ollopa Dekoorc Eert, from the IPA variety pack a solid IPA I'm glad I have more and I can't wait to try the others. However does anyone know what the name means?

    Like Potsie...sit on it jhartley! :slight_smile: (- give it another week or so, the flavor is there but the carbonation isn't quite right yet for a Saison)

    Got some fun news for this Saturday by email today:

    Super excited. Last time I entered this comp I got Silver for a Rye IPA(2012). I was really proud of all 3 I entered this year so the outlook is very hopeful. Abbey Dubbel, ESB, and American Stout.

    New brew review:

    Very tasty IPA. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, apricot, orange peel, pine, floral, grass; with a fair amount of light caramel/biscuit malt flavors. Nice pine bitterness on the finish. Very hop forward and crisp with a nice sticky mouthfeel and finish. Nicely enjoyable.

    Very nice RIS. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, molasses, dark bread, light raisin, smoke, and light char malts with a fair amount of earthy herbal/pine hop flavors. Nice earthy hop/roasted bitterness on the finish. Good balance of the bitterness/sweetness of the black/roast malts. All around really enjoyable.

    Very good BSPA. Worst head retention ever. Taste was really good though. Taste of apricot, plum, pear, apple, melon, light banana, clove, pepper, honey, candi sugar, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Lots of malts here being 10.5%, but still has a good balance with the Belgian yeast and is not cloying at all. Nicely enjoyable.

    Just bought a 4 pack of Old Rasputin. My first time tryin it. Think I'm gonna explore stouts for a while. I've been kinda stuck on IPAs for the last few months.
