    Birds are an awesome touch.
Was just about to sit down and finish the Fellowship with my boy as well.
Need an appropriate brew. No birds in house, however.

It's one of Hill Farmstead's best. It's near perfect. Quite tart, some oak, and so smooth and drinkable.

After spending a couple weeks in MO with the in-laws and enjoying all the mid-west has to offer I am back home popping the plug on a growler of Alpine Duet I picked up before I left. I had some awesome beers with my MO family but it is good to be back home.

    Cheers......

This Kuhnhenn is very solid as it warms. I find I weird that being in Indiana for 4 years, I need to go to NYC to have their juice. Hmmm...

    Cheers!!!

I personally do not think it does. I don't usually like barleywines and I like Bolt Cutter.

We were out and about this afternoon. Hit The Alchemist Cannery and Hill Farmstead. Spent way too much money...a new record. I'm about to crack a Heady, but thought a picture from earlier today at the cannery would be more fun:

I'm not sure which is more bitter, the cold outside or the beer in my glass.

Is that what they used for growlers in medieval times? That thing is hardcore!

Thanks and apparently they are made in small batches so they are hard to come by.
