it tastes like a chocolate covered cherry soaked in whiskey...

it's delicious now but I'm saving my other bottle to see what a year or two does to it.

I sure as heck can't wait 5 years!

Went to a Stoddard's in Boston for an early dinner. I started with a Notch Cerne Pivo, second was a Berkshire Brewing Berkshire Ale, and finished dinner with a Jack's Abby Smoke and Dagger. All three were great in their own ways, but the Berkshire Ale is one hell of a pale ale.

Started with Simtra, then Celebtration and now cracked a Sculpin. Although it's not the optimal order, the Simtra was free. :)

    Cheers!

Let it sit Dan. Perfect flavors, needs to carb up. Give it a month, word is it should be in better shape by then. Not to say it doesn't taste amazing now!

Figured I needed to get some Surly to christen my new Surly glass. I have to say, I like Furious WAYYYY better than this. Abrasive to me tastes like grapefruit juice. Just 100% grapefruit.

Just had a Supplication from Russian River. It was the first RR beer I've ever tried and it didn't disappoint. Now I'm onto a Big Swell IPA by Maui. I ordered some beer that I can't get here on the East Coast. It's my Christmas present to myself.
