Not bad . . . and even better with a chorizo and egg burrito!
Just finished a Russian Gun Imperial Stout from Grand River Brewing.
Now having a Lava Smokes Imperial Stout from Olvisholt Brugghus.
That Pliny was good, but now it's drank, and it label has been removed for the label-table! On to the next beer. It's brand new, The Abyss 2012, opened prematurely, but I have a few bottles, so I thought I'd try it fresh. It's fantastic! A little too sweet, but VERY smooth, and not as hot as black butte xxiv and xxiii. Can't wait to see what developes
Finally, AleSmith made it out to some of the boys from Illinois!
One of my favorite stouts.
Drinking my avatar Ommegang Abbey Ale tonight.
May make this my NYE beer
I'm not kidding at all. I'm in the woods drinking Hurricane pounders.
Jose Marti tonight.
One Wells Banana Bread for me and I'm done already. Some jackwagon on our flight back from Vegas decided to infect me with a cold or flu or some mess, so I can't taste a thing.
Comparing the Old Rasputin with a Blvd. Dark Truth Stout. Interesting contrast. The OR is smoother. Dark Truth has a boozier taste. Life is good when you are comparing stouts. Go Tigers!
Aren't wife glasses the best!
Beer #2, Boulevard Long Strange Tripel.
In celebration of my daughter's birth (2 days ago) -
SN celebration x 2, brown shugga, and now a Brooklyn black choc stout 12-13. Cheers!
Weihenstephaner Korbinian and it's fantastic.
FFF Alpha King
Half Acre Daisy Cutter
Just drank an Evil Twin/Stillwater/Stone "The Perfect Crime" smoked black saison. It was alright. Tasted like a black IPA with not enough hops, but the smokiness was prevalent.
Congrats on your Daughters birth! I've got one due in March.
Congratulations! I've got a bottle set aside for my son's birth in April.
Started with an SN Celebration, shared a Chocbeer Oak Aged Quad with a friend and working over a 2012 Bigfoot at the moment...Cheers BAs

Right back at you! Great taste in music! How's that anchor Christmas?
Looks great in that glass!
Have barely been drinking beer lately due to being sick, busy and over-all run down. Have the night off tonight and the girl's at work, so I've been watching some TV and now sipping on a Zombie Dust from my secret santa bif. Thanks again Colin!!
Cheers all, hope the holidays have treated you well
Turned off the boobtoob and listening to:
