    First timer for me...not too bad. Very piney, very sour grapefruit. Alcohol is definitely present, but the burn isn't too bad. Probably save my other for tomorrow.

    2013 Cantillon Fou' Foune. So far I'm finding that one-year mark to be the sweet spot for me. Still tons of apricot fruitiness but with even more of the trademark Cantillon funk and acidity. I love this goddamn beer so much.

    Just got back from the Snallygaster beer fest in DC. Got to try a ton of cool stuff. Standout I think was Freigeist Abraxxas. The combination of of the tartness and the smokiness and the Brett (-like; I don't know if it actually has brett in it) funkiness was just delicious.

    Fantastic IIPA. Classic west coast hop profile...big citrus with nice resinous pine bitterness. Great bready/biscuit malt backbone to balance this out. Alc @ 8% is masked superbly. Very well crafted.
