DogFish Head Raison D'Extra bottled 9/29/06. Better than I thought. I bought either late last year or early this year, can't recall which. Probably should have bought more than one because that was the first and last time I saw it being sold.

What a disapointment. I thought I might be underwhelmed a bit after drinking FBS first, but this beer just is not good at all. The worst coffee stout I believe I have tried, the coffee is pretty gross in this thing, IMO.

How is that St. Somewhere? They recently entered MN distro... still haven't pulled the trigger on one of their beers.

Spent the day at the Academy of Sciences with the family. After that, we headed to 21st Amendment for some beers and an early dinner. Had a pint of 5 South Pale Ale and Ugly Sweater Winter IPA. Liked the 5 South so much, I took a growler home. Although I have to say, $18 for a growler refill is damn expensive.

Now enjoying the growler at home.

I got sent this as an extra today from one of my Florida traders... honestly this is the first beer I've had from them, and it was a special saison they brewed for Zwanze day this year. I really, really enjoy it. Pretty standard saison and brett flavors, but done very well. I would put this a tick above Saison-Brett.

That glass is awesome. Just got the word that my buddy made the trip to the brewery today to pick up a handful of On the Wings of Armageddon and got me 2 bottles. Good shit! I will make the trip there when the cans come out in 2013 for the both of us and I am definitely going to pick up a couple of those glasses. Cheers!

Enjoying my very first Fantome Saison. The nose has some really great fruit favors. I thought it was a good choice after I finished shoveling some snow for the first time this year in PA.

Watching the fights here too. JDS is definitely gonna take it.

Drinking a growler of Hill Farmstead Abner right now... will probably follow up with a Twilight of the Idols or maybe an Arthur.

So hells yeah!! This beer is fucking delicious. It's a bittersweet drinking experience, not sure the next time I'll get it. The hype around this being so good and drinkable is well deserved. Cheers all!!

I had a friend send me some of this a couple months back, as I don't live in FFF's market. I feel much the same way as you.
