Kicking things off!
On to nemesis 10, its great, but that 09 was superb. Starting to wonder if I'll make it to 12.
Now I know what CD I'm going to pop in on the beer run.
It took me close to three years on this site but I have my first and only 5/5 brew. Double Galaxy that was tapped on 12/29 at the brewery. Everyone, be safe on the roads tonight if you are going to be out and about. Happy new year!
You sir, are doing it right.
Next up, some fresh Gandhi Bot thanks to ILOVESTOUTS...
so easy to drink and one bottle is never enough..
and the fantastic fourth
Happy New Year Everyone!
Thanks to StevenSpringer (His first trade also) for this nice little surprise. This one as yet has not been added to the site, but since I don't review (I'm terrible) I'll not be adding it either. Brewery only release apparently, I had no idea what to expect here and gotta say I'm pleasantly impressed. Nice beer
Hope everyone is enjoying their New Year's Eve festivities.
My wife and daughter are sick, so gonna stay home tonight (the safest place to be on NYE, anyway). I cracked open some liquor... Full Sail Big Daddy J's Malt Liquor, that is, and am partaking in that while doing some projects around the house.
Since I'm taking the tree down tomorrow, I wanted to post this pic. Not sure what happened before.
I'm really enjoying this Sculpin, but $10.99 a bomber is crazy. If I can find this in a 6 it will become a regular I'm sure
Weren't we ALL terrible at reviewing when we first started? Give it a shot. Can't be worse than mine.
Just finished my last bottle of 2009 BBCS. tastes incredible with a couple years on it
"With nothing to believe in, the compass always points to Terrapin"
Why'd you miss out?
Having my last bottle of 2007 Abbaye De Saint Bon Chien. I can't stop licking my lips after each drink!
Starting with celebration... Contemplating opening one of my Westy 12's.
Going big tonight....Cheers!
Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
5/5!!! Oh hot damn, I'm even more excited for this coming weekend. I have something about it I gotta show you, I'll BM it. Cheers!
I FEELZ STOOPID TONITES! CHEERS!
Just finished O'Hara's Leann follain, a nice stout
started Velvet Merlin another nice stout
Most people ring in the new year with champagne. I have other plans. Happy New Year BeerAdvocate!
OK- you convinced me. Slight change of plans for tonight, and I'll be starting with an Orval that is getting pretty ripe-
I've moved on to Ipswich Oatmeal Stout.
I also just pulled this out the oven about half an hour ago. This pie will taste great tomorrow. It's a sweet potato pie with a ginger snap cookie crust.
Heady in a HF glass. Why not?
Happy New Years!
All the best.
After having the growler of Jai Alai and the Dancing Cody we went to the bar.We had some sweet Mahi Mahi in Tuscan Wine sauce, over sauteed carrots, green peppers and onions, washed down with Chicory Stout. We then went next door and had a glass of Liquid Bliss and Wake n Bake on tap.The night is ending with a SA Chocolate Bock and an Old Fezziwig plus a Rocky Patel sun grown torpedo.Hello 2013

Arrogant Bastard @ my local gem
Already had some:
And now drinking some:
I'll be in bed by New Years, but I don't care. Just another day as far as I'm concerned. :-)
I don't always drink champagne, but when I do I prefer Celebration. Stay hoppy my friends.
Starting simple with a beer that I hadn't had for quite a while.
Drinking a homebrewed Rye Pale Ale
Edit: Sorry for the terrible cell phone pic...
I demand a full report.
