    The late games are proving to be great so far. Gotta make sure the beer selection is up to par. The only thing I may love more than beer is football...oh yeah, my family is pretty good too:grinning:

    God, I love how delicious this beer is. Bottled on 9/23, pretty friggin fresh too. Thirst quenching after a nice dogwalk with the fam. @Greywulfken , too used it brotha. Too used to it.

    Beer tasting last night at the #1 beer bar in the Valley, Miller's Pub. ( @millerbuffoon ) Last night, while deciding if my liver can handle "just one more beer", stared down into an empty Cigar City glass, and saw Hannibal and the answer was pretty clear after that ...



    ... Verily, verily, the liver hath spoken, so shall it be.

    Everyone was whining about this one last night, so I capped it up and brought it home - I'm rather enjoying it, from the 2013 el Catadore club membership, opaque as all get out and a ton of oak, raisins, and rum:

    Founders Dark Penance Imperial Black IPA. What a Black IPA should be IMO…an IPA first, and a dark beer second. Grapefruit peel and juice, tangerine, slight lemon, bitter pine sap, light cocoa, and light carmel. Very bitter and hop-forward, yet has a nice milk chocolate sweetness. Actually really good for the style!
