Great Lakes Burning River Pale Ale, Troeg's Troegenator.
Started off with a couple of Lagunitas Day Time IPAs this afternoon, and then took a break from beer. Keeping it simple for now with this. Delicious!
" " Inconceivable. *gasp*, an imposter! x 2
While I was technically drinking a beer when the ball dropped, this is the first beer I OPENED this year-
Victory at sea baby! One of my personal favorites
Trying this one out.
Rodenbach Grand Cru, Flanders Red Ale. All I can say is Damn! Why haven't I had this before? This is one of those beers I always pass on when beer shopping. I finally pulled the trigger, I was craving a Flanders and saw this wonderful brew, went for it and now thanking myself.
Extra from a recent trade. Slightly hoppy with a bit of a tang on the back end. Apparently I'm one of the few who don't hate on wheat ales so I'm glad to try it.
Seems like it's been quite some time since I've used my big boy glass
figured I'd bust it out for this big boy beer.
Round 2 of my Tampa extras:
Solid beer. Not sure what it's supposed to be, but I'd give it a 3.
Some sucks with a couple leftover duck confit raviolos from work last night to finish off this great day.
One more and then off to bed...
Very nice IPA. Spot on to the English style. Very enjoyable
Great stuff. Very complex with a nice malt backbone; but also fairly peppery/spicy giving it an almost Saison feel.
tapping out for the night, great time drinking with MEW and company
Love Buzz was a definite stand out
The victory at sea has began it victory back to the sea, now I'm drinkin this ten-fidy. Great beer, not as good as the victory, but still great. So far it's my favorite canned beer- in the background is the giant pot my wife uses to make gumbo and pozole, a box I've packed with Pliny the elder and the abyss for a trade, and a cardboard 35mm camera kit that I'm building with my son, compliments of my brother and family.
Ten-fidy gone. Now for what else is in the fridge... Leftovers from last night. New Belgium abbey ale. I like it. It's good. It does not compare to the trappist dubbels, but it is good none the less, especially at less than a buck a beer in the folly pack!
This was the newest batch that I tried...2013-3. We got it in our area maybe two weeks ago. This version was pretty whiskey barrel forward and hot.
I have a few bottles of the 2012 in my basement, so I'm hoping it hasn't lost too much.
Don't you wish teleportation was possible? I would have bought you a growler too!
Had one of these about two hours ago.
