    Pipeworks Citra Double IPA. This beer is too good. So much mango, pineapple, guava, grapefruit, tangerine, and slight pine sap. All balanced by a sweet, sugary malt and some carmel malt. Some slight heat from the booziness on the back end. This is such a treat to drink. Definitely lives up to its rating…world class stuff!

    My first, as this is only the second year of Founders distro in NY, and last year I never saw it in rural central NY ...... managed to stumble across it on a rare Sunday bottleshop run ...... um, this beer is divine ... the most pungent stuff I've ever opened a bottle to find within .... holy lord, I'm happy.

    Figure this hits the moment, as the time has truly come for this patient, build from the bottom-up, 4th year craftgeek:

    Sadly, it's an all-too-appropriate grave, as my stupid, selfish, borderline psychopathic "roommate" decided that she didn't want her portion of Imperial Doughnut Break...and drain poured it. Drained it. Didn't mention it, didn't offer it; just fucking killed it.

    I don't think I need to elaborate on how I feel about the matter, since I'm sure anyone reading along has that same little ball of (admittedly, vicarious) rage in their gut right now.

    So, I'm fixing things. For myself, of course. It's dinner time, and it's time for one more bomber: Epic Brewing's Big Bad Baptist!

    Good People's Coffee Oatmeal Stout. Wish they toned the hops down a touch on this one because everything else about this beer is great. That said, the more I drink this the less of an issue it is seeming to become.

    Listening to/Revisiting some Rebreather. Been a while since I last listened to these guys; maybe its not being stoned (like I always was when I used to listen to them), but not holding up to these ears.
