    Happy New Beer Sunday Everybody!
    I just made a nice haul this morning. picked up a few bottles to drink tonight during the Giants Vs Cowboys game. and a few bottles for my cellar. im really looking foward to a great game night with my good friends and good beer.
    1) - Bourbon County Backyard Rye Stout. 2) - Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Break Natale Pretty Please with a Cherry On Top. 3) - Evil Twin Mosaic Single Hop Imperial India Pale American Wheat Lager. 4) - 6-Pack of Ballantine IPA.

    Much better than a previous batch I had (this is 3, the previous one I think was 1) -- the first batch was meh, this is very good. Could be either different percentages in wine vs. bourbon (definitely a BBA character to this one) or different bourbon barrels, I'm not sure...

    Suppose I could have just looked at the entry:
    "The 2014 edition does not include the wild yeast Brettanomyces. It is a 55% blend of wine barrel ale, 32% bourbon barrel aged ale, and 13% fresh ale. The base beer is a hoppy, imperial brown ale."

    Such a great weather day outside. Crazy the way it's been up and down lately. Did some yard work, now some football. Nice when the Skins aren't on until late and there are multiple games on.

    The first half glass was almost medicinal. It was right out of the frige. So, letting it warmed really helped.

    Still working on this howler. Again, so spicy and piney and some bitterness.:grinning: These guys are making me want to move back down to my old hometown! I don't have a problem with that, however my wife wants to move MUCH farther south than that. :wink:
    Matching it with some crackers and cheese. Yeah, the cheesy bacon wins! :grinning:

    Wife and kids are helping make Christmas cookies as my father in law sits out on the front porch talking to himself and watching the idiots drive by too fast here on Main Street. :grinning:

    After weeks of pumpkins, porters and stouts, I had to lighten things up a little with this awesome IPA. Bar nearby also has it on tap and I've enjoyed a couple of those as well.
