That sucks. Does it seem just bad warm or infected?
I'm working my way through a six pack of Irresistible Amber from Madison River Brewing. So far, I'm finding it pretty resistible.
Had a Two Brothers Brown Fox earlier. Now sipping on this, found it hiding in the back of the fridge.
Heady topper.. don't see what all the fuss is abou
I'm sorry for your loss; it's truly the loss of a family member and I hope the good memories continue to bring more smiles outweighing the bad times bring sadness!!!
Drank the beers I wanted to drink tonight, now I'm drinking Beck's
Listening to Miles Davis - A Tribute to Jack Johnson
last beer of the night. one word de-fucking-licious!
Cheers guys. Happy drinking.
I'm unfamiliar with infected beer, but I have a hard time believing this is how it's supposed to taste...each sip is better than the next...I may pour this in the sink and eat some toothpaste.
3 WnB and a Terrapin Liquid Bliss
Now on to a Founders Breakfast Stout.
Always so good.
Currently drinking a Dale's Pale Ale.
Met up with a friend, so between the two of us, tonight was:
New Glarus Coffee Stout
New Glarus Apple Ale
New Glarus Enigma
New Glarus Serendipity
La Cumbre Elevated IPA
Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock
Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron (2010)
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout (2010)
Citra IPA Homebrew
Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale
FINALLY had myself some BCBS. My very first and it certainly didn't disappoint.
A bit sour/tart maybe some vinegar notes, thin body, metallic(overly spiced beers can have this as well)
Night Cap. CC Humidor American Double Black Ale.
Nightcap. Goodnight all.
I am getting some tartness...not sure I'd go so far as to call it sour...perhaps a hint of vinegar...mouthfeel is about what I expect for the style...most of the unpleasantness is concentrated at the back end and the aftertaste is relentlessly bad...hint of metallic taste in there actually...extremely unpleasant aftertaste for me...just completely offensive. It still tastes decent up front...but the lingering foul aftertaste is beginning to underpin it all...will give it another shot...but not this year.
don't forget the celebration son!
It might be starting to turn or it just might not be something you would like. I am not a big fan of Black IPA's due to the clash of the roast and hops, a hoppy stout would be similar.
Now I'm on to a Brown Shugga.
Sad to see that I only have one more left.
Still rocking some Benatar
I actually dig some hoppy stouts and black IPAs. I'm really starting to think this may be infected...which sucks...because it started so strong for me. I'm feeling pretty disappointed right now...glad I only bought the one.
A sad shell of its former self...if you find yourself in Athens, OH I'll be happy to share an '11 with you.
Thank you WITTYNAME for this one
Nice night of ratings:
Damn good as expected. Certainly is a great choice seeing as it is available everywhere including shitty restaurants.
Really nice stuff. Well balanced and complex with herbs. I love saisons
Very good. Not as hoppy as I would have hoped, but very nicely balanced and drinkable
Excellent Tripel. Very complex with fruity flavors and spot on balance of spicy yeast esters.
I've been organizing beer all night, turned into quite the chore but I'm happy with how it turned out.
Now an imperial stout from Grand Teton:
Cheers to whoever is still awake!
My first Cantillon and my first Westy in one night, The Alchemist and Hill farmstead next?
I would drink all the Abyss tonight awesome beer, I need more...
I agree... awesome stuff. Which vintage did you have?
Ruthless Rye. Glad to have this one back.
My closer. I'm starting to really like this beer, at 5$ a bomber?!?
I'm heading over to your house right NOW!!
Drinking tons of Sucks, a pretty common occurrence during the last week and a half.
I'm ready and waiting!
I finished off the night with this...
Now it is really time to go to bed.
It's a... dancing Elmo. not sure what the proper name is but it's Elmo in a black t-shirt. If you press the button, Elmo rocks out to rock music. My son loves it haha
That beer makes me horny.
Dude... I'm jealous as fuck of your trip to VT!!!
That stuff is amazing! I'm jealous!
