Good day BAs! Having this one right now. I've been down on some of the PW (formerly known as) Ninja variants but this one is good, very good. Cheers all!

I also keep a spare box of tissues handy while drinking BCBCS. You know, in case I get a lil too "excited". :stuck_out_tongue::grimacing::flushed::astonished:

Cereal Killer barleywine from Arcadia Brewing Co. Great notes of fruitcake and stone fruit. Perfect for a cold, dark day and Netflix!

Breaking the rules, but whatever. Had this last night hanging with the family and friends.

Didn't want to spend the evening on my phone so I didn't post it last night.

About 5 or 6 years ago, when I was still in college but old enough to drink, we started the tradition of inviting my friends who are back in town from school for Thanksgiving over for a fire and drinks on Black Friday. The tradition still continues, but now instead of coming back from school, people are coming back from where they live now, as their jobs have taken them to all parts of the country. Every year it seems the group gets smaller and smaller, but it's something I look forward to very much every year. Such is life, I suppose.

Ended up having a great time. Always do! Drank too much, but that's what ya do when you see some great friends you never get to see, especially if it's with one you've known for 20 years. Had a year(ish) old bottle of The Vine (Cascade) that was tasting most excellent. Loved that I got to share it with some friends because we're all just getting into sours and we were all rightfully blown away. Hope everyone got to share some beers this holiday, too! Cheers.

Love the pics, thanks for sharing. But I really enjoyed the Christmas tree pic. I've never had the fortune of visiting Hawaii but that photo encapsulates everything to me in what a Hawaiian Christmas tree (& surrounding objects & view. Good gracious what a view it is) should look like. Well done! Cheers.

Super smooth for 13%! Could easily have another. Getting some chilies on the nose but not in the body so much. Really good beer. [IMG]

Using my last American Express Small Business Saturday on a Cantillon Rosé de Gambrinus. $16.99 - $10 = pretty outstanding price for this beer.

Cooking a small turkey and a few sides. The kids are home, so having a mini-turkey day. Why not?

We are drinking The Townsman Stout by Goodfellow's Brewing Company. Nice, laid-back, easy-drinking stout. Super local, super fresh, and eight bucks for a bomber. I guess that sounds kinda like a commercial, but 'tis a very good beer brewed by good folks.

    Dad's, relax!

When your 4-year-old child asks you about the history of the world, here's what you do:

Pour yourself a beer (5-day-old DirtWolf works best in this case), and start a fire.
