Another stout night
Working on this combo now...
The little guy has some basil hayden and it's big brother has some Brooklyn BCS. Cheers all!!
Boon Kriek (decent)
Now drinking regular Woodford (it is ok)
But listening to
Westmalle Tripple, Narwhal, Redskins lose (drown sorrows), Goose Island Sofie
Starting the night with this:
How is this drinking after a year?
Really enjoyed my first Cockeyed Cooper last night.
Have opportunity to grab a bunch already 1 year old that have been sitting on shelves for months & months.
As I sip on my Kava Kava tea!
First was WR and then Shorts. Great IPAs, cheers!!!
Tasty, but a little thin:
This is an interesting new beer from Shiner. I'll miss their Dortmunder, but this is very good.
Currently watching: Once Upon a Time
Good lazy football watching Sunday
I wish I would've taken acid before drinking this swill.
Funny, based on Giovannilucano's posts, I have been looking out for Baladin on bottle lists. Found some at Alla Spina, but those buggers are $40 each! That's insane for a sub-10% abv 25oz bottle. I would really like to try them someday but def not paying that price.
I prefer tea from the Western Coast
Short's Good Humans
Short's The Woodmaster
I paid $30 for The Bruery Fruet and absolutely didn't care becasue it blew me away.
But that's really my limit for any bottle of beer.
For the record, I'd fork over $30 for Fruet again...and perhaps again.
Drank a few Two Hearted Ales during the Skins game. Sucks ass they lost!
Now enjoying a 2008 Stone Old Guardian. It's drinking good, and getting even better as it warms up. Cheers!
She is my tortoise shell that LOVES boxes!
Terrapin Wake and Bake Imperial Coffee-Oatmeal Stout.
Cheers and good night!
Is there like a "ISO:... FT: cat" forum somewhere deep in this site?
more two hearted.. cheers!
this--> http://philly.thedrinknation.com/ar...-to-Release-Always-Sunny-Dayman-Collab-Beer## just made my day. must.find.dayman.coffee.ipa!!!!
Having just one brew tonight... I think I made a great choice
Dogs have personality.
Personality goes a long way.
This I can dig.
Cats have idiosyncrasies...I don't need someone judging me all day.
Hah, i've been meaning to use this glass. How about "This is BA Wee Heavy Season"
Hmm the only one that should be remotely close is the Xyauyu but OUCH I am looking at their website and talk about inflation, man! That Noel is 16.99 at Wine Works, CanCon! my buddy found a BIG bottle(1.75 L) of 2008 Noel for 39! I hear ya with this silly Philly prices! Come to Wine Works:
Just finished off a growler of Budge Bros.' 13th Reindeer while watching the Seahawks beat the Redskins. At 9% abv, I'm fairly certain I won't be driving anywhere tonight!
Finishing up my Hair of the Dog night with this thanks to SanFranJake.
Judging you AND showing you their anuses. I'm more of a dog person myself, but cats aren't too bad, I just wouldn't own one most likely.
Great beer & song selection.
Alpine '89 is great, but I have a soft spot for earlier vintages...
Only in a keg and most places won't fill a growler. (Unless your name is Giovanni! *a-hem*)
I LOVE dogs AND cats. Maybe cats a lil more because well, I am a LEO! Yes, that is right! I was born on July 23, 1980!
I had named Mutley who was a soulmate of mine. He was a malamut/wolf mix that my dad found like some sort of scene from a Jack London book: there he was as a cub in a hollow falled tree, and the rest is a journey. Sadly we believe he was killed for finding marijuana plants behind plot of land (upstate New York and this was were my family made maple syrup). He left and never returned. I could only hope that he left to be back in the wild...
A quick trip to the beach with the dogs and now back on track with this....
NOOO! Well hey I do know the owner of Monk's in-familiarly as he is a town local and shops at my work. Who needs a growler when you can have a KEG!
Edit: Of course if Hawthorne's DID have the bottles you would be the FIRST to get em. Sadly my wife's budget could only handle on growler of Pliny for me. Darn wives can be awesome!
Quaff Bros Sour Grapes:
HUGE thanks to Brew33... review in progress.
Have you guys met my cat Sadie?
That sucks man, sorry to hear that. Up to a certain point, it sounded like you could turn that into a metal song. Who finds half wolves in fallen trees? I'm gonna say Norsemen and metal heads.
Together we will rule the galaxy
