New England Brewing Co. NEBCO Bourbon Barrel Aged Imerial Stout (Trooper)
ND is getting blown up.
Good thing we also have The Bachelor
I think that's my favorite Cantillion.
Just cracked open my growler of St. Dekkera Reserve Flanders Oud Bruin from Destihl.
Met up with a good friend tonight that I don't see very often, awesome night, did alot of catching up, enjoyed good cigars and had some Breakfast Stouts on tap. Life is good!
Mmmmmm, tasty. I don't think I'll ever have a porter as perfect as Everett though.
Bonus drinking night with the football game tonight. The beer is a LOT better than the game.
My night is complete.
I am revisiting a local brewery that often gets overlooked out here, Hangar 24. I am currently enjoying their DIPA while trying to watch the most lop-sided BCS bull shit bowl game ever. The game sucks, this beer does not.
Right on, bro! Good beers are definately for sharing with good friends!
samuel smith's organic chocolate stout... with, of course, a pecan brownie cookie
Big coffee at the nose.
Taste- Lots of bakers chocolate but the coffee taste is not over powering. Well balanced and delightful. The vanilla beans are rather mild but I'm not complaining. I've just been wanting for that vanilla punch in the face that I got from BCBVS. That was awesome.
I would definitely buy up as much as you can. Really glad I have a couple to send as extra's in my next two trades. And share another with the boys at home.
I felt like going with a beer of famer tonight. Here we go...
Too curious about this not to try. Very nice!
My first beer of the night was a DFH Midas Touch, then a Thornbridge Bracia, now I'm on my 3rd Foret Saison.
A little West Coast magic
Drinking a KBS 12' and diggin it. Strangely, I'm getting a little bit of a cough syrup taste on the finish I haven't experienced with KBS before. Not saying its bad, just not like the last one
Call me out of touch and behind the times, but that's the first Saison I've ever seen in a can. Pretty cool!
well here we go....
my very first post on the forum...
my first beer of the night....
and my first time trying this beer....
Wow, that is way more carbonation than any bottle I have opened. Most of mine have been pretty much "dead".
This is surprisingly tasty despite being so big on the ABV. I'm sharing this one with my roommate.
onto jai alai, hercules and my last big hoppy monster. ugh
Chilling out with a Criminal Minds marathon and Taz!
The evening has come full circle.
While I'm watching the BS National Championship Game , enjoying some porter's
Lighthouse-'Dark Chocolate Porter' , Rogue-'Mocha Porter' , Phillips-'Longboat Double Chocolate Porter
Started off with this and liked it very much
Now this is incredible, such a great taste
And this just speaks for itself
Two of these so far. Might crack my cousins homebrewed black IPA soon to finish out the BCS joke of a game.
Pipeworks Coffee Break Abduction - freaking awesome!
And then we discovered half the female contestants were from the south and the other half are Catholic...game over...
Now drinking a Mikkeller/Grassroots collab Wheat is the New Hops...
This beer is pretty fantastic: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/13307/88763/?ba=cfrances33
Honestly, my fingers are crossed that my very good friend Kapron does not have a serious injury. Hope that ND pulls something out here, but would rather see him without injury.
Enjoying a Founders Breakfast Stout. Not enjoying the game. If I coached in the SEC, I'd have few waters to rest up for a big glass of stout at the end of the night, then brag about how big the stout I drink is.
And yes I am bitter. ND is getting plain outplayed, and I hate the automaton coaching the Tide.
The last (and only) flower power I had tated like nothing. Would love to have a fresh one.
Just a little Southern Star watching the SEC curb stomp Notre Lame
I'm drinking the same thing buddy. Great minds think alike. Hope you bought more of it. It's too good not too.
Cheers ya' Bastard!
Hahaha, I decided an aggressive pour was in order!
