Thumbs up for the Allister!
I guess I'll finish the night with another Stout. Kabert with it's funky upside down label. Cheers, all!
Alkaline Trio - Jaked on Green Beers!
Brasserie Dieu du Ciel Solstice D'hiver Barleywine
Shoot...I had this in my hand tonight. Am I gonna regret puttin er back on the shelf?
Probably not a good idea to follow up a Green Flash West Coast with this.
What year is that?
Onward we go. On to the Maple Pecan Porter, the lone savior in the Spring Thaw Sam Adams box.
Nils Oscar Imperial Stout (Sweden) - 7%
Didn't expect much, but WOW this stuff is tasty! September 2011 bottling. It has amazing bacony smoke and some rusty flavor (might be slightly oxidized) over the big roasted coffee notes. The profiles here remind me of fresh Plead the 5th on tap. Obviously never ever a bad thing.
Got more of this stuff? I say gimme gimme gimme!
Lamest segway ever as an excuse for an Abba video.
What's better than one red head?
Two of course!
2 thumbs up to your avatar!
I'm sure we'll be seeing quite a few of these tonight:
It's definitely an unusual IPA. The Westmalle yeast blends with the hops to give it a distinct flavor. Kind of like a good Belgian tripel with a pineapple-like sweetness.
Well duh! I have an Italian barley just for this lil gem! Glad I found it today near the shore!
This is my plan for the evening.
That's no plan. That's a PROGRAM!
The Three Hop-a-teers!
Damn. I will be pickin one up tomorrow then, maybe BEFORE work if the store is open. I was looking for Sucks to see what all the hype is about, but they didn't have it.
U diggin it? I'm a huge fan of this brewery and beer in CT

I thought this was going to be just like Big Foot himself! And that, I met a pretty cool beer manager at the store!
From Brasserie Charlevoix in Quebec:
Very sweet. Akin to Choklat but even less balanced. I'll go back to my Peche Mortel and FBS thank you very much. Milk stouts are just not my thing.
I had my first WnB last week also, it was so good i bought another 4pk today. Damn what a coffee bomb.
As far as my palate goes at the moment, Liberator > Hopslam. That being said, drinking both of these tonight makes me pretty proud of my home state of Michigan! Two damn fine DIPAs, pretty different from each other, but both for sure are among the best of the style.
I have yet to try Zombie Dust, but Dead Flowers is by far my favorite Stones song.
Starting off with a local coffee stout
Pic would be nice...lol
Ever since I had this for the first time on tap at Kickbacks Gastropub, it has gotten better every time I've had it.
