While I had run into a couple of other Terrapin products before, I didn't hear about WnB until I started following BA a couple of weeks ago. When a local bottle shop announced it had just got some in stock, I made sure to pick up a 4 pack. I just opened the first one:

My beagle Bubba is gonna have a Citra Pale Ale in honor of Bo tonight. I'm gonna kick back a Sweetwater "Gimp"... And "Old" Ale, in honor of your old friend. Dogs don't live as long as us, because they learn to love and cherish quicker than us..

Need to get some reading done still, so I think I'll open some Hennepin and settle in for the night . . . always enjoyable. Love me some Ommegang, let's see how it pairs with 19th-century Cuban history.

Found this while digging through the cellar! A lot better than the last time I had it, coffee has faded a bit, chocolate is coming through a lot! I like...

I just picked up 12 of Rajah (haven't been able to find since November) and either my taste has changed or this beer has. The taste and nose are both totally off from prior bottles. I hate to say it, but this bottle may become a drain pour.

Too sweet. I heard they had been tweaking due to lack of hops, and now I have to start believing the rumors.

Dark Lord was good, but it was too sweet. I bet after a couple years it would be a lot better. 50/50 Eclipse EC12 was superb, I love that one(so did the others).

I've always seen this at my local liquor store, but never taken the plunge - until now.

Good stuff. I'd love to see what another year or two could do to mellow out the booze even more.

Sadly the rumors of infection are true and this is a drain pour... Undrinkable. Guess Ill "settle" for a SNPA

Sippin' on a '10 STONE RiS. It's aged quite nicely. Slight hop aspect, with a smooth but mellowed roastiness.

Chocolate stout float! Thank goodness for the eggnog Gelato! Is it just me or does it seem like Young's doesn't taste the same anymore? I wonder if Wells messed with the recipe when they acquired them.

Not the first person to say this. Word on the street is that there are bottle variations, even as much as whole 6-pack variations. I've experienced this with my last 6er of WR. My guess is just bottle variation, not recipe change. The Brew Kettle is a relatively small brewery and I'm sure there are occasional quality control/batch consistency issues.
