Finishing the night with a shake:
Pliny is incomparable. Richard Thompson is a picker extraordinaire. Andrew Luck is a bad azz.
Rain in SoCal calls for:
Night cap with my favorite non-BA stout.
My dog used to drink beer with me (really just licked the bottles) but this beer turned him off of beer forever. I always chuckle when I see a bottle of that but I am also sad that me and my "boy" will never share a beer again.
Got my dad a beer of the month club for chirstmas from The Beer Temple (Chicago). Split this with him earlier tonight, I think he's enjoying his gift!:
Enjoying my 32 oz growler of BCBS.
the demon ales
Blackrocks North Third Street Stout. Cheers BA!
Finishing off a weekend full of great beers with one of my favorites. Finally got my hands on a 4 of this today. I do like it aged a bit more, but it speaks volumes to how good these flavors come together in this IS so quickly.
This beer is an absolute treat. Summer in a glass.
Here's to a good week.
Iwatekura Oyster Stout
Not being a fan of most generic Euro lagers, I've never had this beer before. I'm actually quite pleasantly surprised. Very clean and surprisingly hop-forward. I'm also digging these new pilsner glasses the in-laws gave us for Christmas.
Odell Brewing Company - IPA
My first dance with the Duchesse. She is an amazing gal. Cheers!
This is my weekend cap, but bonus drinking Monday is tomorrow with the National Championship, no SEC edition.
Congrats, they played a great game, or so it seemed to me, was too busy breaking furniture in my house after the Cowboys loss
The beauty of annihilating your cellar.
Good brew - one of my favorites!
Flogging Molly - it's been a while.
I don't think so
Sorry, recycled picture, phone is charging but I'm enjoying a Green Flash Double Stout, cheers!
Nice color, a decided russet. They say Irish ales had a color like this in the old days, e.g. McArdle's, the ale from George Lett (George Killian), and maybe Smithwick too.
Hop Stalker with my birthday dinner.
Happy and hoppy birthday @mabermud
About to watch Birdman with my wife
Enjoying a little Duet tonight, courtesy of my brother @brewchaser619...

Not what I'm drinking right now, more like what I was drinking 15 minutes or so ago, but...
(Oddly enough, I think I actually liked canned Yuengling more than the bottled Yuengling I've had before. This was actually the first time I've had canned beer... I used to be kind of averse to trying anything that came in cans because I figured the can might make something taste metallic or otherwise "off," but for some reason I went for the big can today anyway. Looks like I had nothing to worry about after all. XD)
Dessert. Three year-old Crème Brûlée and a slice of raspberry cheesecake. Decadent enough?
