Heck yeah! And they should sell it in those little brown paper bags like they did last time too.

A couple of these smooth, quaffable Original Nut Brown Ales, the flagship ale from RoosterFish in nearby Watkins Glen upstate.

Sampled half their beers on offer today, and while nothing was mindblowing, they covered a wide range of styles and were generally in the tick-to-tick-and-a-half above average range, hitting some good taste notes in all but one case for me. Will be glad to stop off here again. Cheers mid-week BAs!

    Uh, three things here:
    1. Post of the year so far
    2. Wait, that's the Geico lizard in the greatest way
    3. Wait again, aging BCBS inside an actual coconut -- you shouldn't share genius ideas like that without being paid by someone for the sheer weird-obviousness of it, which others will now copy at no benefit to you --- well, others who have access to lots of empty coconuts, which, jealous, and, I need to finish reading all the posts now because others have surely mentioned all this already. Carry on, thanks for making my day Hawaiian BA in paradise!

Trying Hop Ranch for the first time.

Dirt Wolf > Hop Ranch (No contest)

Hop Ranch is good, but it doesn't showcase Azacca or Mosaic. It blends the two into something that can't be broken down into its parts. I'd call it generic yellow tropical fruit. It tastes good enough and has a nice tangy quality. The aroma is just ok.

Dirt Wolf is more complex and the ingredients can be identified within the blend of flavors and aromas. Hop Ranch is a homogeneous concoction. This isn't a Hop Ranch diss. Both beers are pleasant to drink.

So I am a hop head through and through. Over the years I have really wanted to like stouts - so I tried different world class barrel aged stouts and I don't really like them. I think I was trying to jump in to deep, too fast. I should have tried this one long ago because it is amazing. Leave it to Sierra Nevada to turn me to the dark side!
