I'll get a lot of for this but I'll take this beer fresh
over Pliny the Younger
Year round, little to no hype and easily accessible.
Who says cat pee smells bad?!
Whale watching done. Didn't see any whales until I got home. Starting with a Beachwood Brewing Eight DIPA.
Honestly. This is the tits. Pineapple, tropical fruit with almost a honey feel. Fantastic @Sixpoint.
Slumming it tonight...paper plate, lump crab roll and an old friend...cheers!
Drinking a homebrew which I named "Garbage Beer".
I had a bunch of old specialty malts and hops, odds and ends left over from past brew sessions. Didn't formulate the recipe in any way, just took what I had and threw it in. What I ended up with is a roasty, slightly hoppy, black ale kinda thing. I'm happy with it. It's nothing special, but certainly drinkable.
Scored this while on the road out of state ... Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale
first time with any offering from Boulevard here, really nice flavourful combo here, not as much bite as I expected, a little more hefe-like, if you will. Nicely taken with the higher abv. Cheers BAs, prolly my last brewski for a few days, looking at hernia surgery tomorrow (sorry, TMI, I know .... it's on my mind, can't deny it). Here's to looking ahead for a Sun/Mon celebratory return. Keep on truckin.
Wasn't going to....aahhhhh fuck it! #2!! So damn good!
Gotta little crazy and over-zealous with the pour.
Since I was reminded of Pink Floyd earlier....
This is just fantastic!!
It's just Ummagumma!
Just all truth in this song!
They are bottling for six months this year, I have a sixer in the fridge dated 12/22/14...should be able to drink these fresh for several more months. I thought I was finished a few weeks back but keep grabbing a sixer every other week...damn good beer...cheers!
It was my first too, and now I crave it constantly. I didn't even know anything about the style, so halfway through the can I started thinking "I swear I can taste something saline about this" to then look and find out salt is a typical additive in Gose styles, which I personally thought was very unique and honestly pretty cool. By far one of the most interesting beers and styles I've ever had, and was my gateway into all things (beer) sour.
2012 Barrel Noir. Tasting just fine! Cheers!
All that shoveling got me parched
Number two... Just as good as number one
I almost grabbed this one from the fridge, but decided to go with something else. Then I saw your post!! I'm trying this on the weekend for sure. Enjoy!
Ale Asylum Ambergeddin
Getting ready for Hoosiers v. Terps tonight. Cheers

i believe the flower they are depicting is the same as this, amaryllis. Wait until it blooms. It's huge and lasts for a week or two. My wife has the thermastat set to subtropical levels; we should get that bloom soon.
Yea, well the Habanero Sculpin just didn't do it for me so I'm moving on to something that will cool my mouth.
Do you feel like I do?
One of my favorites!
