    The woman upstairs was so pleased that I've done so much shoveling for her (aw shucks, t'weren't nuthin') that she brought me a sixer. Far out. But since we've never discussed beer I was expecting to open the brown paper bag and find Bud or High Life or fill-in-the-blank Lite. I shouldn't have doubted her smarts. To get a sense of my tastes she looked in our recycling bin to see what I've been drinking. And that's how I came into another sixer of Sierra Nevada Hoppy Lager without even having to death-march to the packy through the deserted wintry hellscape.

    My phone's broken so for form's sake I've stolen a pic from our friends at the Internet.

    New Local DIPA Monday!

    Ok I'm drinking this brew here!

    This isn't bad, resinous with some stone fruit tones in the aroma. The flavor is sweet malts and flows with resin and passion fruit. Not a bitter Bomb, nice old fashion resinous DIPA with a nice tropical fruit finish. I'd buy this again, hides it's 8.5 very well for a MD brew.
