    One of the guys who stocks shelves (among other tasks) at TW, called me yesterday said they randomly got a case of BCBCS. My wife and I stopped after work to pick up a bottle apiece (1 twelve oz bottle limit per person) and the guy asked if I wanted to spend a little more. Apparently they also had gotten a case of bombers of the Vanilla Rye. He said it flew off the shelves. He had tucked one away for me in case I wanted it (duh, one of the beers I thought I'd never get to try). Anyway having a BCBCS now. Gonna share the Vanilla with my brother sometime in the near future. Cheers.

    The one I'm drinking is a 2014 at 12.6%.

    Home: time to give this a try. Abita Bourbon Street Imperial Stout. With the view from my electric piano. A great way to relax.

    8 weeks in bourbon barrels? Really? Why bother. :astonished:

    That said, it isn't a bad brew. They need a better base stout, to be sure, and more time in barrels wouldn't hurt, but there's a nice enough vanilla and coconut presence. They did very well with what they had.

    Ah never worry triple hopped or triple IPA both are good in my book. I will definitely be getting my hands on some of that as soon as I can. You definitely sell it well and it sounds like rocket fuel. Very tasty rocket fuel... :grinning::grinning::grinning:
