Had a bomber of Sculpin, finishing up with a DFH 60 Minute while watching Anthony Bourdain in ATL.
Do you do a lot of Japanese cooking? The majority of what I cook at home is rooted in Japanese cuisine.
My big one I want right now is BC cherry rye, but i doubt I can make that happen. But also love FFF and founders. Maybe some KBS or BA stuff
Capones sent me an email saying they have NN right now. I hope I get the call from the beer distributor that they have my case.
Not really but I LOVE EATING IT! Nothing beats a pitcher of Asahi and a whole lot of Yakitori
Kudos to Matt for getting it so quickly.
I used to work in a bomb-ass korean noodle/dumpling shop in Chicago, and will always be obsessed with asian food.
I've posted a few of my pictures, however, I'll have to post a few more. I just made homemade miso soup and yakisoba tonight.
Trying this here widmer chocolate imperial stout on this, my thirty-second birthday!
It's not bad. Not great either. The flavors fight a little, I think they might get along better when they grow up.
Me too. I speak a fair amount of Japanese and have studied the Japanese Way of Tea (the "tea ceremony") for several years now. I'm well-versed in Japanese cooking (and eating) as well.
Started with a PBR while I cooked.

My last Celebration from this batch
Think I will now end the night with a glass of water and get up early
School starts Wednesday. It's this kind of night
Probably something later, not sure what though.

Trying out my new glass!
I walked into Goodwill yesterday with the intention of buying some glassware, and there it was, the only beer glass on the shelf, and at the low, low price of $1. Huzzah!
Yeah, it says "Brewtus" and "Applebee's" (godawful restaurant), but, hey, whaddya gonna do?
Of course I had to go and get appropriate beers to try it out and, you know, see if it works and stuff.
Another new glass
I'll try to make it up there tomorrow night. I have a meeting for work that will last into the early evening. When do you expect to be out there?
leaving dekalb at 5:15ish... should be there around 7-7:15?

Lets see if this works. Lags Sucks, Sierra Nevada Estate, and Mongo IPA. Turning 29, still...
I'm enjoying a 2nd pour of St. Bernardus ABT 12 from one of my faucets. It's been unusually cold in SoCal the last couple of days so this one is hitting the spot.
I'll end the night as you did sir.
Much better than the last one I had in November from batch 8211. Waited a bit too long on that one. Haha!!
I totally agree.
Then came Ruthless Rye and finally a 22oz of Seeing Double to finish off the night!
Thank you sir! This is getting better as it warms, I'm starting to like it more.
Blue Point's Old Howling Bastard. Not THE best Barleywine I have had, but top tier for sure.
