    Yes, its old. Yes, its way past prime. The Best By date is 08.23.12. Sue me. My dad gave it to me as a late Xmas gift (he doesn't know anything about hops falling off and what not) and its not like I'm NOT gonna drink it. Its actually holding up pretty well. Obviously the malts are more forward than originally but its still very resinous and hoppy. I'm enjoying the shit out of it. I'm a sinner.

    I loved this beer. It wasn't as good as XIV and definitely didn't match up to XV (one of my favorite all time beers) but it is still damn delicious. I'm hoping some age will mellow out the flavors from the PNC (those tequila barrels are a bit overpowering)

    First day of the semester in the books. Started with a Dark Horse Karate Scotch Ale, solid. Intermission with a Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. Night Cap with Schlafly Coffee Stout, damn good.
