Trying Innis & Gunn rum cask ale....
Really? Peaches in an IPA? Sounds intriguing.
Odell did a Peach IPA that they offered at their taproom that was quite tasty. After trying Jai Alai the other day for my first time, I would have to imagine that Cigar City Peach IPA is delicious.
I have no idea what that is, but if it I had some Id eat the shit out of it.
Just released today... some info on it on their FB page. Pretty good stuff.
How is it? I noticed it on the shelf the other day and was intrigued.
Starting my night with some Mirror Pond. Working my way through Deschutes entire lineup. So far... meh.
After taking a few refreshing days off from beer, I needed to slam my tastebuds...
Probably gonna have a bunch of these... maybe something else. Who knows.
So long, last '12 KBS
Good Evening BA's
Ahhh yes....Torpedo time
Oh, and watching the Celts/Hornets game. Go Celts, Go Pats and Go Bruins. That is all.
yup, it's pretty great.
I am a big fan of rum so I thought it seemed like a great idea. I'm only a few sips into it but I think I like it. I'm not good at reviewing yet but I think it's a shade watery. The rum flavor is there with what seems like a little vanilla maybe. It's definitely worth a try. Good for sipping.
First Hopslam of the year.
Exactly what this evening called for...
2013 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot this stuff is great !!!!!!
At her majesty's pleasure.
Enjoying probably the best IPA on the planet.
It's delicious. Hunks of Indian masala cheese in a red curry over rice, the puti is basically a wheat naan baked in tandoor.
1. Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA
2. Bells Two Hearted Ale
3. Green Flash Palate Wrecker IIPA
I can't like this because I'm a Hornets fan, but this is a great beer.
Black Butte was my favorite of the regular lineup. Try it if you haven't. Obsidian is apparently really good but I haven't tried it.
I didnt think there were any Hornets fans left!
The beer is very good, as usual. My Mother stopped by to visit my daughter and brought me a 6er of Torpedo and 6er of Centennial IPA. Need to have her over more often.
This is a wonderful beer, I have to say. Extra in a recent trade, and a wonderfully crafted treat!
Just cracked open an '11 bottle. Drinking like a champ right now.
Since we're having a taste test....
an old friend decided to stop by...
Better than WnB 2012...but I say WnB 2011 trumps them all!
Black Butte is next on the list. I haven't seen Obsidian yet.
I had 2 mugs of Bud on tap at a local watering hole with a co-worker after work.
Ate some delicious lasagna made by my wife and now it's time for a good beer...
I rather liked the rum cask ale which is suprising because I very much dislike the original.
Tacos and g'knight. Noms.
Berkshire Steel Rail Pale Ale. Refreshing. No picture of it though. I feel so inadequate.
Dude your a man of the world! Plus 100 on your level up points!
You got a great extra in that trade. Incredible when its fresh on tap! Enjoy the hell outta that bad boy.
The base beer is a Scotch Ale? Im not huge into that style, how's the rum work with that, or is it rum dominant?
Pretty good stuff.
Those tofu looking things are hunks of cheese. Damn. Id be all over that, haha.
winter 10-11. It was worth the wait.
i feel like eating bittersweet dark chocolate with this gem
Groovy beer + groovy tune = winning
