While plotting my crossover
This some bullshit. If you want cred, drink from the can, wrapped in a brown bag.
I like the NAME of the band
Starting out the weekend with some Abrasive.
Evening BAs. Beer √
Horns up √
One for the road- Vanilla Joe, great to see it back...
All we got was bombers and I'm OK with that, I was looking forward to the 12oz maybe just because it's different.
Just a few good new brews for me today:
Another in-state brew:
And a pretty good out of state one:
Sent some out today, actually.
Every time I have this (not enough,) I wonder about the name/title
First time with this crazy beer. Wow - very boozy. I'm not complaining!
Happy Friday BAs, my young son just got back from a quick California trip, he brought me a little present.
Fresh Squeezed, good stuff.
I like it followed by another Hopslam!
Three Floyds Lord Rear Admiral ESB. I've had this in past years and is still the only ESB I've ever had. Not very well-versed in this style, but I do know this is an English style and that it is meant to be balanced, which this beer does wonderfully. Apricot, herbal tea, floral, and some grassy bitterness from the hops and biscuit, toffee, and slight carmel from the malt. Love the English hop character on this. Glad they brought this back after not brewing it last year. Cheers!
Action Bronson is the man:
Nice and tart.
Hop craving: satisfied.
Fuller's London Pride
But you don't know my address, or have you been stalking me?
You know you're innocent right?
Got to love a beer store that helps you start your weekend with Grapefruit Sculpin on tap.
Folks, @SawDog505 DOES drink beers other than Green Flash or IPAD/DIPA!
Sippin on this...
By the time James shaved AND cut his hair he was a wuss.
But the video is still *hornsup*
Getting some vitamin C...
If you can't find a case of Parabola try one of these 2012 IRS
Drinking the last relatively current Chimay blue in the old beer fridge. The good news is that I noticed one of my local Publix supermarkets is carrying both Chimay Blue and Red, so I just bought a 4 pack of each for a buck cheaper than Total Wine. The bad news is that after putting on my reading glasses at home, I noticed they all have L12 (i.e., 2012) bottling dates. An aged Blue may be all right, but the Red -- I'm not drinking an aged dubbel, so back they go!
I just liked the price, at $16 a six it was like buy 2 bombers get one free.
Hope you have a DD Rich! I'd be three shits(not sheets) to the wind after all of your posts today.
Cream and sugar please
Currently doing my best to choke down Transatlantique Kriek Ale by New Belgium.
It literally tastes like someone poured a can of the cheapest cherry soda you can think of into an extremely light ale.
However, it is not nearly as bad as virtually all of those god-like whiskey-fusion ales though. The only thing that could match that stuff would be the fluids that accumulate in the gutters of Bourbon Street after a Friday or Saturday night.
No pic because I am passive aggressive like that.
Welcome to the BW club. You started at the best, don't hold them all to this standard brosef.
Thanks for the recommendation. I've never seen that particular beer around but will keep my eye open for it
