Had my first Bells Hopslam. Very impressed, not upset about that purchase at $3 per bottle.

Moved onto my first GLBC Conways Irish Ale of this year/season!

Crackin a few from the Sam Adams Spring Thaw. Starting off with the Alpine Spring. Nice thick mouthfeel in this one. A good start to this mixpack.

...apparently we both approve of the new wax color. I really should read the whole thread before replying to people.

Well, back from watching a great show featuring music of Presley, Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Cash...and the night is young..

So I think I can hoist a Li'l Sumpin' Sumpin' to toast the Man in Black.

I look at this thread all the time but can't get past the 3rd or 4th page because I get too jealous of some of the damn pictures. I digress; I am drinking CT's new brewery Two Roads Road 2 Ruin.

Dan and I got through a couple good bottles tonight.

Started off with one of my favorite DIPAs:

Then Dan picked a Malvasia Rosso out of my cellar:

Next, BA Batch 9000. As good as I remember it being last weekend. No proper glassware for this one, unfortunately.

Picked this one on a whim. Awesome label art. It's an Imperial Porter aged in Tennessee Whiskey barrels. Its a solid porter, but the barrel character is almost non-existent. Will hang on to the empty for a while. Cheers!

Currently drinking Great Lakes Conway's Irish Red Ale. Not exciting, but still enjoyable. A good transition out of the heavier winter beers.

I've had an embarrassingly Minnesotan day - sledding in the icy snow/grass mixture we've got going on, pickup broomball and then a walk with the dogs in this unseasonably mild 28 degree (!!) weather. Might as well keep to the theme with some Surly.

    Cheers all.

This makes me want to have a stereotypical Kentuckian day. Get drunk on bourbon, peruse my many horses, and disapprove of anything I find different.

no, No, NO...That's NOT what I meant!! I was only asking because I thought you picked that one due to the name and you were exhibiting a sense of humor. If you were, I thought it was really funny...that's all I was getting at. I should have included a :stuck_out_tongue: or a :grinning:...it wasn't meant to be a :grimacing:! In regards to the age, #$%@ yeah, you're absolutely right, it's only a number! (I'm no spring chicken myself.)
