    The "session" IPA is not really my thing, but I'm willing to try anything Evil Twin brews, so...yeah.
    This is pretty fucking tasty. Great floral smell and such a clean, yet, bodied taste it kind of reminds me of a fresh All Day IPA. I have to add, a lot of grapefruit on the finish here. It's also my first soccer game of the Spring later today too, so I'm one-and-done for now. Cheers BAs.

    I asked the wife to pick up "something interesting at the liquor store" when she was out the other day, and she came back with a Blue Moon variety pack. I think she was using the same tactic I take when I ruin a shirt after she asks me to do the ironing. This one tastes like shame and regret.

    I judge a NC beer festival and was lucky enough to walk away with a growler of Trophy Brewing's (Raleigh, NC) saison, Best in Show - but here's the twist - this one was aged in Makers Mark barrels and apparently only brewed once. It would be a shame if I never get to have this again - with the fruity notes from the saison and the bourbon, it tastes a bit like an Old Fashioned. Absolutely stunning beer. Cheers!

    Went on a 12 mile run in the Konza Praire. It's basically a big protected prairie about 15 minutes from my new place. Today was my first visit, so I brought my phone along for my run:

    "Big Sky" country.
    Kansas can be almost unbearably flat sometimes, but this trail had some decent acents for some pretty cool views. Also made me realize that I'm slipping, and it's time to get back into shape again, as today was a struggle.

    And currently sampling some local flavor:

    Piney, skunky (mary jane), and a little citrus. Pretty good and super refeshing (it's warm here).

    Had an awesome beer adventure yesterday visiting Dallas, TX! Will document my journey;

    We started off at Twisted Root Burger, had an awesome burger an some Stone Ruination on tap (so sad to see this beer go)

    Next we walked literally 30 seconds across the street to Brain Dead Brewpub and had a Lagunita's Gnarlywine on tap

    After Brain Dead Brewpub, we stopped at a couple big liquor stores and pulled a massive beer haul to bring back (check for my post in "post a picture of your latest beer haul).

    Finally, we ended up at The Ginger Man craft beer bar and had a Firestone Union Jack IPA, Old Chub Nitro, a local bourbon barrel stout and finished up with a bourbon barrel aged Gulden Draak!

    Needless to say, I had my fill of alcohol for the day, rode back home and promptly passed out before I hit the bed!

    Keeping with BBA theme. Funny how much the caramel sweetness is there with this after a coffee stout. I even pick up some dark fruits more so than before.

    Old beer sunday while watching the masters. Starting with the Hop Stoopid then moving to a couple BCBS.

    I passed on buying a 4 pack of BCBS yesterday and last night I actually had a dream about me flying (I literally would just jump in the air and flap my arms) from store to store looking for Bourbon County. I woke up very confused and slightly inspired. Needless to say, first thing I did when I woke up was hit BevMo and pay the $29.99 for a 4 pack. Probably will even go back for more tomorrow. Damn you beer brain, damn you!!!
