Homebrewed Simcoe Single-Hop PA. Pine, juicy-fuit citrus, light crackery malt, and neutral yeast profile. Proud of this one.

    Onto this:
Shamelessly underrated . . . I mean come on guys, this is as Torpedo is to AIPA, as Satin Solstice is to Imperial Stouts in terms of it's value proposition. I mean don't get me wrong, there are plenty better, but few for the $7.50 a sixer.

Another night, another 22 oz bomber to take down solo. I wish I could find singles of all the beers I want to try but around here bombers seem to be more available. Oh well. So after a couple SNRR's I am now drinking this:

Will most likely be my nightcap. Really enjoying it so far...

Really damn good Pils. Nice lemon/orange zest with peppery hops and a bread malt backbone. Very balanced.

This is a nice imperial helles. Seems like it got some oxygen or something, cardboard evident in the aromas. Otherwise it was tasty.

    Ruthless Rye next, Cheers

Started early w/ a New Albion Ale- not bad, didn't care for the malt bill, but still pretty enjoyable. Wanted something hoppy after that, so went w/ a Celebration- never disappointing. Took a small break, then busted open a 2012 Abyss I'd been saving & it's hittin the spot! Monday morning is gonna come too soon...

I have nothing on you 'cause my Colts went out early and my second chance offer was Denver ALL because of Peyton, I was hoping he would go all the way this year to thumb Irsay and nothing against Andrew Luck at all (I have a Luck Jersey, die hard Colts fan, but also sport a Manning/Bronco's shirt only because of him). It's all good and neither one of us have nothing to celebrate right now so I raise my glass of Weyerbacher Insanity to you!! :grinning:
