Better on tap. Having said that, none of the house beers (standerd sixers) I have really wowed me in bottled form since they've hit Mizzou last year. (Used to drink them all the time in Oahu & Colorado) Either my memory is lying or recipes are being tweaked downwards in taste for me. I used to love Obsidian Stout, now I'm not even sure I like it...

Had a HF Saison during last week's Patriots game and both the beer and result of game were to my liking. Will go a similar route today with Anna. Go Pats!

Thanks! The beer guy at Binny's said that it should be here in a week or so. Fingers crossed that it's a fresher batch than that three week old garbage being peddled everywhere else.

Seriously. I rarely drink black IPAs, and it's apparent that I haven't a clue when it comes to pouring them.

Just finished off a Two Hearted Ale. Had seen it show up several times on this thread and when I noticed it while at Kroger this afternoon I thought "What the hey". This is delicious. Just the right amount of bitterness but not overwhelming like some. Glad I bought a sixer.

I hardly ever salivate over food pics but that is some straight-up food porn right there. What's in that? Shrimp, corn, new potatoes and sausage of some description? I imagine I could make a pretty healthy papilotte out of this, but I'm going to hazard a guess and say this was drenched in garlic butter? :p

Whoa this beer is amazing! Why'd they switch the yeast from Dry English Ale to their Farmhouse strain? Guess I've never had the Farmhouse version so I can't vouch for it, but I've gotta say this bottle of the original version is ridiculously good IMO.

Actually it was a healthy adaptation using broth and old bay seasoning. The sausage is andouille and you have the rest dead on.
