Starting it off nice and easy...
A growler of Mayflower IPA.
Got a bomber of Mayflower 5th Anniversary Ale on deck.
Getting ready for some football!
Better on tap. Having said that, none of the house beers (standerd sixers) I have really wowed me in bottled form since they've hit Mizzou last year. (Used to drink them all the time in Oahu & Colorado) Either my memory is lying or recipes are being tweaked downwards in taste for me. I used to love Obsidian Stout, now I'm not even sure I like it...
Had a HF Saison during last week's Patriots game and both the beer and result of game were to my liking. Will go a similar route today with Anna. Go Pats!
What. The. Shit.
Blue Pants Black IPA...song seemed appropriate and equally hack.
Sucks and the Patriots
Let me know, I'll send you some!
Wish I could find that one too
Well, well, well. Looky here what I found lurking in the darkest part of my fridge. Dark Intrigue, you go down tonight!
Talk abou getting some head
Celebrating the Niners win with this.....though I see bright seas ahead my friends. Onto the San Jose Sharks run at the cup.....drink on matey's.
Thanks! The beer guy at Binny's said that it should be here in a week or so. Fingers crossed that it's a fresher batch than that three week old garbage being peddled everywhere else.
Yes I did. I'm having one of these now (old picture).
Fresh Growler of Peach Jai Alai for tonight.
Damn that looks delicious! You are a lucky man...she's a keeper! Cheers ~
2012 GI Bourbon County Coffee Stout...All by myself!
Not a clue whats going on. Southern Illinois has had it for a week. Seems like central Il is always last
Seriously. I rarely drink black IPAs, and it's apparent that I haven't a clue when it comes to pouring them.
Enjoying a Schlafly pale ale before dinner.
Starting my night off with a couple of these,
started with this earlier. surprisingly complex and delicious!
working on this now watching Patsy/Ratbird game. Really an Imp Porter at 9.5%
Na na na na na na na na. Na na na na na na na.
Taking a break form my keg. Need something to cleanse my palette.
Huge nonic of pseudoSue! Perfect follow up for the Zombie Dust that just bit the dust!
Enjoying football and my girl DORIS.
Is it bad that I counted the "na"s to confirm that the post was a Batman reference?
Sharing a bottle with my wife...our first ever geuze...definitely won't be our last!
Walleye tacos with Indeed's black ale:
Just finished off a Two Hearted Ale. Had seen it show up several times on this thread and when I noticed it while at Kroger this afternoon I thought "What the hey". This is delicious. Just the right amount of bitterness but not overwhelming like some. Glad I bought a sixer.
I hardly ever salivate over food pics but that is some straight-up food porn right there. What's in that? Shrimp, corn, new potatoes and sausage of some description? I imagine I could make a pretty healthy papilotte out of this, but I'm going to hazard a guess and say this was drenched in garlic butter?
Whoa this beer is amazing! Why'd they switch the yeast from Dry English Ale to their Farmhouse strain? Guess I've never had the Farmhouse version so I can't vouch for it, but I've gotta say this bottle of the original version is ridiculously good IMO.
Jester King Black Metal Imperial Stout
Goes great with Meshuggah
WOW! Talk about kickin a fella while he is down!
Actually it was a healthy adaptation using broth and old bay seasoning. The sausage is andouille and you have the rest dead on.
Moving on to another first time try
What a great first time trying night! Sucks, Lukcy Basartd and Hop Stoopid...I'm in BA heaven!
