Very happy to be trying this...
Something about this beer ... I don't normally buy six-packs (I like trying new beer way too much), but I may have to get a sixer of this when summer rolls around. A very mild and underwhelming IPA, but... I can't even really explain it. I dig it.
Haha. I'm in central Il also, so I'm right there with you bud.
Interesting. I feel like they left it in the barrel a but longer than I would've preferred
In honor of the guy who us drinking what he is told...(thread seems to have been deleted)
I have decided to stop the purge and start the SPLURGE!!!
cheers my BA brethren!
Oh, you lucky bastard. Can't wait until I go to Chicago this summer and pick up some of that..
...Also can't wait until 3F's decides to ship their beer to Michigan.
At first I was feeling a bit abrasive and was resigned to the fact that life sucks...then I had a couple beers and alas I realized that life is indeed good!
I'll just simplify with one pic. My buddy Sam (bentlegbrewer) came over for some beers and football. We had a great afternoon!
thanks to benjaminahudson for the #properglassware
olde hickory southern belle
Cheers! Thanks brother.
Moving on to some hoppy but smooth stuff -
After that Falcons game, it's got to be Lagunitas Sucks. Quite a few of them.
Hot damn, tastes good
I need to get some damn Lagunitas Sucks. Can't believe I haven't had it yet.
First time trying this one:
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm having the same tonight in celebration of a Super Bowl return for my Niners! A damn fine win!
Good good good.
Three sisters tasting over. All these posts motivated me to have this after.
I'm more than happy to keep this theme going:
I dont even know what this is, but ISO, if for no other reason that awesome bottle.

Moving on to a Hopzilla! Delicious.
I have my fellow BA friend primrose54 to thank for this one...my first one and boy is this GOOD!
I would definitely drink it again if that helps. I'd love to try one with some age on it too.
I meant Batch 19, oops!
Moved on to this one:
Cheers all ~
Wish this beer had more coconut flavor. Cheers!

Go Ravens! Fuck the Patriots!!!
Another first time try...
Meh...it's ok for a black ale just not my fave style.
Just had the Brooklyn Local 1. I cant say I didnt enjoy it but if Im gonna be spending that kind of money on a beer I probably won't be revisiting this one.http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/45/35328
Just got back home from Hooters and cracked open another one of these bad boys while watching the last qtr of Ravens and Pats...
La Cumbre Elevated IPA...delicious....Cheers!!
The artwork on that can is AWESOME!
Moving on. This tastes more like a black lager or CDA than an "imperial porter" (why not just call it a stout?), but I'm ok with that.
A Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
