another new one for me this evening.
Blue Point Brewing Co.
Hoptical Illusion IPA
pretty damn tasty.
Long day of site seeing (read tagging along while wife shopped). Found this on sale at grocery store. Rich, velvety texture. Chocolate malt, still with a whisper of hops. Tasty way to start the evening:
Alpine Brewing Co. - Hoppy Birthday
Stone - Delicious IPA
both Wild Friendships
all were excellent

enjoying this one more so than my first time...for whatever palate-induced reason
and really enjoying the vibe and talent on display below (thanks to @zac16125 for the aural awareness)

Headed home in the morning so revisiting a few favorites from this week.
Lagunitas Waldo's Special Ale.
This is my first experience with Fresh Squeezed--a fitting beer to close out a beautiful spring day...
Always a good choice.
Hammerland DIPA bottled 4/13/15; so fresh and so clean.
Good call on this one @warrendietrich2001
Visiting Boston. Petrus Oud Bruin on tap followed by Allagash Monmouth Red. What a great city.
First sip of another first timer for me. New to my beer store. I dig it.
I agree. This beer has summer written all over it.
Love this beer, and it still tastes fresh one month after canning.
Thanks to @Desp59 for this mouth watering IPA. Clearly an east coast beer:
Steppin it up a bit (ok, just a little bit, but the last one was a Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull). Anyway, this was a freebie, a throw-in with a four pack of Spencers Trappist Ale, so I'll knock it out.
Honey Brown Lager
Nice Lichtenhainer. Dry hopped lends strong aromas and grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel hop notes with some balanced smoked wheat with light coriander/sea salt and a touch of funk. Pleasant and well balanced. Taste of tart lemon, lime, pear, apple, light coriander/sea salt, wheat, cracker, light wood smoke, floral, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/earthy tartness and spiciness on the finish. Very well balanced between the spice, smoke, and fruity/funky yeast notes. Very smooth and crisp finish; with light acidity. Good robust flavors overall. I was expecting a bit more out of this. It feels very toned down on both the smoked wheat malt and the lactic yeast than I expected. Still really enjoyable otherwise.
Damn good. Aromas and flavors of bright grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange peel, mango, melon, pepper, pine, and herbal hoppiness with moderate light honey/bready malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good amount of piney/spicy bitterness on the finish. Great hop complexity as expected; with a crisp and moderately sticky finish. Very drinkable for 8.1%; some light linering warmth of alcohol after the finish though. I love Equinox hops so there was no way I was going to hate it. Really delicious.
Damn this is delicious! Aromas and flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, caramel, toffee, toast, dark bread, wood smoke, and light char with with slight saltiness. Nice roasted bitter finish. Extremely robust flavors with great malt complexity. Nice creamy finish, medium-full bodied. Nice presence of smokiness and light salt from the pig parts. This is a definite gimmick beer that works. Love it. Only 7% and loaded with flavor.
Thank you & cheers!
Enjoying this beautiful evening out on the deck...
This is definitely one of the best porters I have had. On my permanent ISO list as of this evening.
Thanks to @stormy04311 for the bottle. Cheers!

Stone: Delicious IPA
I had not gotten into this one because I couldn't score a single around here. Now that I have found a single I am wishing I bought a sixer. (sometimes the ball goes that way sometimes the other)
I guess having a single and wishing it was a six pack is better than the obverse, having a six pack and wishing it had only been a single. Who can say six pack here we come. Quite "Delicious" indeed.
Drinking, originally blind tasting:
The last Dinner in the arsenal. Bottoms up!
My first experience with KBS. It just so happens to have a year on it. Not sure if thats a pro or con.....delicious regardless.
all of this Hoptimum-madness was too much for me....had to cast aside (for now) Victory at Sea and dive into this beauty
what a glorious creation....simply phenomenal
the bald genius invoked earlier, along with ageless wonder and life lover (simply on fire here)
and my boys from Rockford...just because
Massive Cheers BA's....awesome flow with the posts tonight
Don't know if this makes me "girly" or not but I kinda like blueberry flavored beer once in a while.
