    While watching an Arsenal vs. Swansea English Premier League match, I cracked open a newly reformulated (and canned!) Notch Saison, which was such an easy drinker that before I knew it I'd finished. Easy there, tiger!

    But life goes on. In the present instance, it goes on to a new batch of Night Shift Morph IPA, the 5/5/15 iteration. Mighty fine. I'll do my best to drink it at a safe and sane tempo.

    The only Red/Amber Ale Maine Beer Company brews that I enjoy! (And I dislike Amarillo Hops!)

    This uses Amarillo hops that gives off the Citrus Notes most people talk about. Most of the time Amarillo gives off notes of Pepper Skin flavors to me. This one has heavy grapefruit, without the bitterness.

    Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. We had a big party at our house with my wife, my mother, my mother-in-law, my daughter and grandsons, and my sister. Plenty of mothers!
