After a good tequila aged stout, to some IPA's. I had a couple of these Ruination V2 , and I can tell you it's a bit stronger than the 8%ABV would have you think. It will make you see constellations in the glass! Now ending the day with Hopslam, left the glass outside but you get the picture, heh. Cheers!

 

I agree, BL. I drank the only one I got, and I was amazed how smooth and balanced it was. I found some more at a small, out of the way liquor store last week and didn't hesitate to get 4 more.

 

Sharing this one with my cousin for hooking me up with the Cuban. Cheers! See you in a few days.

Orval is never a bad.choice
That is a damp good beer.

 

Unibroue Ephemere Pomme (Apple)! This beer smells like fresh Granny Smith apples... It's amazing! The apple is less intense on the nose but this allows the Witbier base notes to come through (coriander, orange peel, etc.). An excellent brew from a Brewery that can't seem to make a bad beer.

Hey ya'll! I am enjoying a can of Deep Ellum IPA which is deliciously balanced. @Rootscipio made this possible! Hope he gets his box of beer tomorrow!

 

Finishers:

My go-to summer Hefeweizen. Always outstanding.


Really nice kolsch. A bit on the hoppy side for the style; but spot on in flavor profile otherwise. Very smooth and clean.


Last Sinuous. Very nice hoppy amber, but I hope they bring back the old Irish red ale recipe next year(because it was far better, and spot on to the style) but it may be a lost cause. Otherwise, after 4 months it is mellowed a bit more on hop character letting more malt complexity shine through. Really tasty.


Always excellent. Glad they finally date cans now, so I buy it more often. Big dark roasted coffee with some cocoa/toasted malt flavors and a balanced coffee/roasted bitter finish. Robust, creamy, and smooth for the ABV.

Dang, between you and @5EKF Glassware is becoming a endangered species.

 

I feel ya brother. In a week I lost my 33 oz brandy snifter, my Dogfish Head/Sierra Nevada IPA glass (from Dogfish), and my Duvel Arne Quinze art glass. It was a rough week.

 

Another tuff day of oysters and sparkling wine...managed a foray into Lagunitas for a couple of flights. Back home after trading some Florida beer for California beer. Nite cap:

 

Now onto a Hoptimum

No glassware was harmed in the pouring of this beer.

Canned 8/26/14, I was wanting to put at least a year on this can. It looks like I failed, but what a delicious failure.
Oh well I wouldn't be surprised to find some more of the same batch on shelves around here so who knows.

I considered having that one too. Mine have about 7 and a half months on them. Hopefully I can make it to a year which I hear is ideal but we'll see if any of them make it.
