I fucking love this beer. I also think it might be my favorite beer label ever.
Good news that you will recover.
Goodv luck getting through the next couple of weeks.
A 12 pack for about 12 bucks is a hell of a deal!
I picked up a case on the day it was released from Weyerbacher and was told it wasn't meant to be aged. I totally disagree, that one got way better as it sat. (IMO)
Moving on to this one:
Cheers to all~
If only it wasn't so expensive to ship beer to Kashyyyk...
Don't ever let her here you say that.
Trying out a new one from Odell:
SN Narwhal...perfect beer for a -5 degree night...
It's been green with the little yellow stars and the goat for as long as I can remember. It really is enjoyable, and its 5.99 a 12 pack.
Like many of you I am drinking Hopslam. Good IPA no doubt but I never get why people go so crazy for this, lots of other good DIPAs out there
Me, too. I'll probably spend a good chunk of spring break in the Triangle area, so I was thinking of driving out to the Foothills brewery to check it out then.
Grab all you can! It's killer!
This one brings back huge memories of my time in Geissen Germany!
My brother's friend hooked me up!
Straight off the plane.
One terrific pils!!
Proof that beer is highly subjective. Haters... come on down... Just had my first Hopslam (3 weeks old), and was underwhelmed. Not bad, just not that special. No picture - you all now what it looks like
I've really been digging double IPA's lately (Sucks was excellent, and I loved Heady Topper), but this was just not my style. More of a Barleywine than an IPA to me. Thick, boozy and mild bitterness. Note: I usually like a strong hop aroma/taste with low(er) bitterness. Nice dank/underripe mango hop aroma, and fairly drinkable for 10% (especially just out of the fridge before it warmed). I'll probably have another one this year (whenever I don't like my first pour of a highly rated/hyped beer, I always try another), but I expect this may be a 1x per year pour for me going forward.
Time for a night cap... making a giant dent in this... big problem to have...

I love this beer...it shames many stouts.
That one always reminded me of the old Bartles & Jaymes ads/commercials. I like that label as well!
First of a few tonight
uhhh those are the same guys??? Definitely the one on the right
Probably the last beer of the night. The girlfriend and I thoroughly savored that Enjoy By, but we both love Scotch. What a great way to end the night, right? This is phenomenal, by the way. The nose on this is ridiculous. Cheers all!!
Founders Imperial Stout.

Starting off with the last batch of 2012
Next up.. the first batch of 2013
Yeah man, you shouldn't be drinking. Give it time and come back strong. Cheers to you and good luck!
Keep telling yourself that it is only beer. Maybe you will believe that lie
couldn't help but keep drinking with the blackhawks on TV. finished the night with a Sucks, and a Guinness
He'Brew Genesis, had the Sweet Sixteen last night
Shorts publican porter
Because it's delicious?
2 Hoppyums and this to finish the night. Have to work at 7am, unfortunately. This is my first Out of Bounds Stout. A few sips in and its great!
Celebrating a win by my favorite team with one of my favorite beers.
Cheers and goodnight to you all!
My first Zombie Dust. So perfect
Best combo of username, avatar, and beer choice ever.
I agree with you on whitewater. The first time i had it was very fresh and it smelled uncharacteristically citrusy for Sam Adams. I was impressed and really enjoyed it. However i noticed its aroma faded very quickly on some bottles i had a little later. It does exist in six packs....at least here in Mass it does.
