Fuck sitting in traffic. I'm setting up shop in the backyard with a glass of (insert name of good ass beer here) all weekend. Kicking things off with this beast. Enjoy. Cheers BAs.

The girlfriend is back in town, but tired, so not sure how much we'll get into, but two newer IPAs to us are the start of the evening.

The Belgian yeast is noticeable in the Stone/WW/Ecliptic collab, interesting at least, enjoyable we'll have to finish to see. The Equinox is solid if not exciting (and not needing to be) brew. Two classic breweries, can't go too wrong, right?

After starting off with a KBS/SMS side-by-side in the AM, it's taken me quite a bit to get to a second (well, third) brew. I'd better go with something light.

Canned over three months ago, but it still smells quite fresh, and it tastes absolutely fine (maybe better than I remember). Tons of floaties, but plenty of beers look ugly while tasting good.

    Cheers! Oh, and...horns up Friday!!!

Enjoying a 2nd Shift Brew Cocky IIPA. Looks like it's going to be an IPA Friday...not that I'm complaining.

This song has nothing to do with Fridays or IPAs. It has to do with Levi Stubbs (Four Tops) and his tears. Plus, I really like it!

The benefit of the local homebrew shop also being a local brew pub is I get to have a beer while picking up my yeast. The down side is my beer and homebrew costs have gone up. Can't have a beer without picking up something for homebrewing and can't get something for homebrewing without grabbing a beer. It's a viscous cycle!!!

How did you get that growler? My brothers in Maine has a log of it just received yesterday. That beer is otherworldly. If it wasn't a holiday weekend I'd take the 4 hour which would be 6 hour today up there just to have some.Enjoy!

Visiting Mom in Dayton, made a beer run to a gas station. They had this iconic beverage plus Hi Res, a ton of Stone and DFH stuff, Clown Shoes, Southern Tier, etc etc etc. I told the cashier they should open a gas station to go with their world-class liquor store.

Anywho, this beverage lives up to the hype, IMHO. Hoppy malty excellence in this imperial red. Have a great Friday evening, BA's.

Kicking off the 3 day weekend with something light. First time with this one, pretty average American Pilsner. Not bad but not something I'd purchase (was leftover from a recent beach party).

First, had to jam out to some jammer:
Thoughts - Damn that's a good summer beer

Then this one went inns my mouth: (pardon the terrible pun)
Thoughts - Old ales aren't much my thing, but I quite liked this one.

And then the star of tonight's public execution of my liver, the beer for which I waited an hour in line last night:
Thoughts - I'd like this way, WAY more if it were a bit more carbonated, but tastes good nonetheless.
