So I've been hanging onto this one for a little while, for a special occassion. And, while there are certainly events more special in life than one's 100th beer review, I saw it fitting to pop the cap and enjoy this guy today. Obviously, there are many of you who have been drinking craft beer for much longer than I, but I suppose we all had our beginnings in finding the enjoyment in microbrewed/craft beer. It doesn't seem like I've already rated and reviewed 100 beers since I joined this website back in February, but I guess that only goes to show that I'm enjoying it. Not trying to overload this WBAYDN edition with an essay, but I just wanted to shout out a quick and well deserved Thank You to everybody who has, is, and will help to make this hopefully life-long journey worth while. I've learned a lot about beer, and I know I have much more to take in (info, that is. well, and beer). So, with that, Cheers!

Right before I left Greenville, SC on Memorial Day, I got lucky and picked up a bomber of Mexican Cake. I wish I could have scored a bottle, but this is just as good obviously. This is my first time having it, and I'm really enjoying it. Cheers y'all!

Wow, now if this isn't the most ironically named brew to share with a certain particular someone (as I'm doing right now), then I don't know what is:

And yes, unlike 98% of people you read/hear, I used ironically in an appropriate manner. :stuck_out_tongue:

    So, um, cheers? Ha.

I love that glass (got one) and I love La Chouffe. That ale looks delicious.
The real gnomes live in Belgium of course. Cheers!

A buddy got me 6 months of Beer of the Month Club and got my second 12 pack box in today. Unfortunately 6 of them were from a brewery (Millstream) that is 30 min away from me. :slight_frown:

This though is new to me. Pretty decent for a helles.

Dear Ballast Point - please put your dates on the outside of the six pack cans box.

Towards the end of its shelf life, but still tasty.

After being tricked into drinking Anheuser-Busch via one of our here UK supermarket brand beers
(& it was terrible even by those incredibly low standards) I need good drinking
& judging by it's many appearances here, I take it, this

    is a tasty beverage

Been there, done that. A friend of mine had it done before me and he said "if it hurts they did it wrong", well they must of done mine wrong because it hurt like hell!

They do put a sticker with Julian Dating on there, but sometimes it gets taken off or just isn't there for some reason.
