One good Deschutes . . .
. . . deserves another:
I am doing the same; however, I took the Beers of Fame list back in October before they changed the ratings system. I'm working my way through those, and then I'll move on to the newer list and try anything that I missed. Good luck!
Drinking light and local tonight players,
Well, since it was getting so much grief in the 'If you were to host a bad beer tasting party', I figured...why not?
No joke... I would put that up against the shot a minute (of swill) challenge
SO, I must be a glutton for punishment...just popped this open as a follow up to Colossus.
Oh yeah, tomorrow is gonna be a blast...
I'm in love with this beer, wish I had more.
Wednesday night chillin...Cheers all!
Thats the best they make, followed closely by the oktoberfest and Wiggo Barleywine (not bottled). I didnt hate the pale (some odd combination of pale wheat and lightly hoppy pale).
As for me, I started with a Ruthless Rye and Williamsburg Alewerks Grand Illumnation Barleywine.
I opened an Indigo Imp Winter Soul (open fermented winter warmer) in honor of a Duke loss
BCBCS. My first ever. So good.
Its sooooooo much better on draft, wasn't a fan in the bottle
Last beer of the night as I pack up a trade box...
have a good night y'all!
Where has this beer been all my life?
Goes well with this:
The Bruery Humulus Lager
Nice pic that one^
This is where I'd put a wide-eyed cat picture if it wasn't against the rules.
I started with an Odell Lugene, and am about to open a Goose Island Matilda.
Founders Imperial Stout!
Go on...I dare you...
Maybe after the mods sign off... when the cat's away, the mice will play.
good ending beer
Until then, my friend...
Perfect pairing! Cheers bro ~
Having some Yeti...in the words of moonshiner Jim Tom, "golly that's good!"
Cheers all ~
Tons of cinnamon, this is so tasty. Wish I had opened it a bit sooner, but it is still fantastic.
