Two rounds of Sherry BA MZ from CCB.
And @Roguer, too - yeah - I stuck with 7 - seeing some prompts to check out a Windows 10 - was there even a Windows 9 ? Anyways - if it ain't broke, eh?
Love that beer and alpha force. That's one of the few places in billings I miss.
The Duvel made me do it .
Thanks, btw! It was wierd; I was still wondering what I was going to open for today, and as soon as I saw that those Schlenkerla Helles hit the shelf yesterday I knew exactly what to do.
Solid Beer here
2nd night in a row with some Selkirk abbey infidel Belgian style ipa. Can't complain
Council Anniversary House Red and House White. Middle and far right
Nice Gose/Gozer reference!
This beer is doing better with some age. Duvel practically holds the whole bottle. What a tricky bastard,
After pouring three of those down the tubes I had to take a break with a lot of water and push mowing the yard to sober up, my wife was laughing at the time and made reference to it looking like a Frat party contraption!!
Whelp, after drinking a Ruination, Resin and Epiphany, I knew I would eventually end up with something that Sucks! Offering a Six pack in this beer was a brilliant choice!
Exciting hockey game so far, what a second period. Big props to Bob Baffert from Nogales, just a short stretch down the road, and the U Of A, for winning the elusive Triple Crown. Sorry Jim, I didn't get a Duvel glass yet, but your contests are always fun. I'm drinking something I know @Greywulfken will like, and it's very danky-dank as per the usual. Happy Saturday, all!
Feeling the stouts tonight...
Trying out some new coffee for the evening...
I bet it will be good to the last drop.
Wow, this is so carbonated, is this normal ??
Always a sure thing.
Hell, yeah, I like it - hope it makes it's way to LI...
And only been dropped once. Hope not to offend. It was a fave joke of my great uncle who fought there.
Followed the Tank 7, with a S/N Ovila Saison....very well done
On to number 2 of the night. Waiting for my chicken wings to be delivered.
Hockey game's still good (understatement of the night).
Surly Todd the Axeman
At a local metal fest
All in the mouthfeel.
Elk Valley brewing Co's Midnight Ryed. I split my lip paying with the birthday boy's fischer price baseball toys. Pitched to his brother ( 11 yrs old ), he hit a liner back to me & it took a bad hop right into me, embarrasing Good on American Pharoh for winning the Triple Crown, should be a bigger deal than it is...
My one weak connection this thread so far, got a free sample of Devil Dancer when trying to decide on beer #2 in Joplin...
Girls Weekend at my friend's trailer...
This is what I'm imagining:
1/2 Growler of FW Easy Jack IPA
1/2 Growler of Kane Hop Lab Imperial Red
First time with this one
One of my favorite reads about WWII was account in the trenches in Italy between the Germans & Americans, right after the Italians surrndered to the Allies. They told the Americans they were sure to lose the war now that the Italians were on their side. I believe that was from the Up Front book from Bill Maudlin, but my memory isn't what it was...
Yeah - Orval, like Duvel, really kicks up some foam - a lot of Belgian pales need close supervision on the pour
Upside down Lagunitas Imperial Stout at Dodger Stadium.
Finally sitting down after a long day of sending the wife and daughter off on a girl scout camping trip, t-ball with the boy and yard work. Very impressed with this quad.
Earlier: 'Always cool to attend a graduation party with good beer!!
