    Wow! Gotta catch up with 7 pages. Happy day where a work HH revealed to me another coworker open to expanding his craft beer horizons. Now to feed him some beer and see where his tastes lie so I can better suit my beer gifts. Plus, carryover celebrating a softball win last night (we're kinda/really that bad). Grabbed a couple of the had to tries for a recent bottle run:

    Somehow still shocked at the root beer-ishness of the left, even though I've read more than enough posts to prepare me. The right probably doesn't miss at all on the classic style guidelines, but I think brown ales can be a little more big and bold without being over the top.

    I haven't had a good brown ale in quite awhile and this more than fits the bill. Wow. Very good, I may have to get another one of these. @Greywulfken scored a sixer of Smells Like a Safety Meeting in the city earlier today...great stuff.

    Got to try a sampler of Other Half IPAs this past week. They still have a ways to go before they're on par with all the great New England IPAs.

    Drinking another GD, a tad on the boozy side...

    Working my way thru the Summer Pack. Kolsch was awesome - I would have sworn it was a pilsner if I was blindfolded.
